We purchased a new house with partially broken floor and wall heaters, so we decided to invest in a central heating system. We received 3 estimates. JW Heating was not the cheapest bid, but not the most expensive, and the estimator Ted gave a very detailed proposal, with good ideas about how to manage the placement and routing of the ductwork of some tricky air vents. The job also involved some asbestos removal associated with the old heaters, which was handled by a subcontractor. Beside that, the actual work took 3 days. We are quite happy with the apparent quality of work (install of the furnace and ductwork in attic, clean cutting of the ceiling vent grilles). We have been using the heat for about 1 week now, and it seems to be operating very well. I was particularly happy working with Ted, who acted as the point man throughout the process. He coordinated with the asbestos guys, and heating install guys, handled the permits and inspections, and came back after to give me a walk through of the system. He was quite professional even as there was some confusion at the city permit office about whether the inspection took place or not. It turned out the city was at fault and had mixed up the permit numbers, but he got the confusion worked out even one month after the job was over and I had already paid in full.

Arrived on time and provided a thorough inspection of AC in attic and outside.

He cleaned and lit the furnaces. Gave me important information on maintenance. That was it.

This was the first time we had used this company. We weren't sure we were getting the best service from the previous one we were using. Mark from JWk took a lot of time making sure that each of our units was working well. He picked up the fact that some of the piping that had been originally installed was not up to code, and that our filters were really not working efficiently because of the type used and also because of the way they were installed. He seemed to be reasonable in the pricing, explaining everything patiently and thoroughly. He is extremely knowledgeable.

They identified the problem quickly and got the replacement part within a couple days. As always, their service was prompt, efficient and professional.

Arrived very late - several hours - did not call to let me know they'd be late - i had to call them myself. He was nice enough, and professional, but his opinion was fairly confusing on how my system operated - and mainly just suggested a new system. sent me an estimate for a whole new system.

As far as I recall, there no issues with scheduling.

Two men came to do the work and they were very nice and on time. My experience went well and it was taken care of within an hour. They asked the correct questions to get to know the system. They were very careful where they placed things and they cleaned up well after themselves. They did have to come back out to make sure they had the right part for the job. They called right away after I had purchased the deal to schedule a time with me and we did have some scheduling conflicts on my and their end since it was during the holiday season.

They were good. I recommended them to another person. They were great to work with.

Scheduling was fine and they were able to accommodate to my time frame. One technician came out on time for the appointment and it took about an hour to complete. He explained to me what needed to be done. The AC unit is still working fine.

Everything went fine. One technician came out and he was knowledgeable about our heating and air conditioning system. They were responsive to my calls and they were able to come out quickly to do the work. The job took about an hour to complete and we did not have an issues with them.

It went very well. He came, checked everything, gave us some options, explained everything very thoroughly and was very friendly and accommodating. The started the job when they said they would and finished on time. The workers were very polite and made an effort to keep everything clean. They were quiet and did not bother the other tenants in the building. We were very pleased with the job they did.

This company not only provides great quality service and products but appreciates their customers and keeps them happy and cool after the work is done. I've used this company for both my home central heating and for my commercial properties. During our recent heat spell my tenants complained about not getting cool air into their suite. I called JW and they came within a day or two and fixed the problem. Because of their policies of customer satisfaction and that fact that they appreciate good loyal customers, the service fee was waived. I so appreciate this company and wish more would follow suit in a very competitive market where good customer service seems to be hard to find. The lead technician that was familiar with my building even switched another appointment around so that he could come out right away and fix my problem. Now that's going above and beyond the norm!

I contracted this company from one of Angieslist deals. I spoke with Debra in the office twice. She was very nice and helpful. She has the happiest and most pleasant voice. She arranged an appointment for the next day. The technician arrived within the scheduled appointment time. He was very professional. Even though I have had the furnaces serviced several times since their installation, he gave me advice about the filters that will improve the performance of the furnaces. No other technician has told me anything like it. He was a pleasant man, performed his work very well and cleaned up the area completely before leaving. I will contact this company for any future heat or AC problems. I was more than pleased with this job.

The units came with our recently purchased house and they hadn't been properly maintained for quite some time. The serviceman took the time necessary (and it was a lot of time) to extensively clean out the units and get them in proper working order. We'll be using them again to service the units every fall and spring.

JW replaced my 30-year-old HVAC unit three years ago (after I got their name from Angie's List). I was very impressed with Jeff when he came out to give me a bid and I felt they did an excellent job installing the new unit. I purchased a maintenance contract with JW at the same time and they have been very responsible, contacting me every six months to set up the twice-yearly maintenance provided under the contract. Naturally, my AC went out at the start of a Labor Day weekend heat wave. I called JW first thing Tuesday morning, expecting it would be days before they could fit me in. But they said they could be there that morning and by 11:00 a.m., Ruddy was there. He went up to the roof in the broiling heat and in very short order had the unit running again. I was very happy with JW's quick and efficient response.

It was good. They were nice and easy to deal with. The only thing is that they ordered a wrong part so they have to come back. I would recommend them to everybody. I guess their price is good, I'm not really sure. Their quality was great!

This was an air conditioner which another company installed and which never functioned properly. We had a second company come and they couldn't 'fix' it. JW Heating and Air was very professional from the get go. Showed up on time. They showed us the problems with the original install and when was needed to fix it. They came back as scheduled and the problems were fixed. The air conditioner is now working properly. We are extremely satisfied! We wish we had used Angie's list sooner to find this company when we first need a new air conditioner. Highly recommend them!

Very impressed from the first phone contact. I found the phone representative to be very professionsl, responsive and accommodating to my schedule. The air technician that arrived was on time, respectful, offered a thorough assessment and diagnosis of the problem. I found him to be honest with his impressions and offered recommendations for future servicing needs. I would most definitely use this company in the future and would recommend to a friend without reservation. It was smooth and seamless from start to finish.
