He came and inspected the a/c and heater.

Why I needed this service: I recently bought a condo and wanted to make sure that the central A/C was in good shape and sound since it was installed by a previous owner. (The condo did not originally have central A/C.) Pros: 1) Quick correspondence once the special was purchased. Cristina was the one I communicated with at the beginning. 2) Ruddy, the technician, showed up at 8:18am for my 8-10am appointment window. I am happy that he showed up towards the beginning of the appointment window. 3) Ruddy put on disposable shoe covers to keep my condo clean. I appreciated that very much since I'm a no-shoes-indoors kind of gal. 4) He left me clear recommendations for what to get and explained everything in simple terms. Cons: 1) It's too bad that they don't offer some type of combo deal where they do the tune-up/inspection and clean out the A/C ducts and vents in one shot. Summary: I am very pleased with the service I received, and I do recommend them for a general check-up for your A/C system at home.

Mark arrived promptly at 9 a.m. proceeded to identify the problem, fix A/C offer more assistance. Overall, great service.

Response was slow. After 2 weeks, I called for an appt. and was told a call was made and left on my message machine. I did not receive the phone message; however, found an e-mail from JW Heating in my "junk" mailbox. We live in a townhouse condo with 7 units in our bldg. The technician was very negative about the installation of our 3 yr. old HVAC and wanted to know who installed it. He pointed out that the "disconnect box" should have been replaced when the new AC was installed. I asked if any of the 7 units had new disconnect boxes and he said none were replaced. It was unnecessary to badmouth the installer--he should have just advised that the air conditioner needed a new disconnect box.

Ruddy gave a courtesy call before coming over; he was professional and helpful. Our A/c is working!

They did what they were supposed to do. We only used them once. They were OK. They were not bad, but I think I can find someone better. I chose them because of the coupon. It was nothing special, very routine I guess. They did the job. I have no complaints. I would use them again.

Super fast, took 5 minutes to find the problem and got it fixed.

We originally had an appointment scheduled for a Tuesday morning during a major heat wave and they called first thing that morning informing us that the technician was out sick so we'd have to reschedule. While this was a major inconvenience, they were able to get someone out here two days later. The technician was great. He was able to fix our AC, rather than simply recommending we replace it, which would have cost substantially more. Now our AC works great and we couldn't be happier. I would definitely use them again in the future.

We purchased an Angie's List deal for a $49 AC tune-up. The technician arrived on time and was friendly, thorough, knowledgable, and efficient. He gave us some tips on upkeep as well. I would definitely use JW Heating and Air again and recommend to a friend.

Prior to the installation, Ted, who had done the system review, discussed the total plan with a "walk through" in and around the property with the installation crew. He also checked in periodically throughout the process. The crew showed up each day on time and cleaned up carefully before leaving. Our proposal included some coordination with other contractors (drywall and roofing work) who were as timely and professional as the JW Heating and Air team. The project management function and communication with JW Heating and Air for our project exceeded our expectations as has the end result. They did an awesome job and would highly recommend this company.
