Shawn, Ignacio and Ramon did a fabulous job installing my new HVAC system. I upgraded to a 2 zone system and they ran into a couple of complications based on the builder's original installation. They faced each challenge with confidence and the install finished on time. They left the work area just as clean and tidy as they found it! On top of that, when I had a question within hours of their depature regarding the fancy thermostat, Shawn gave me a call back in minutes. User error was fixed and the system was back in business! Cooling upstairs separately from downstairs is a great new addition. I thank them for their wonderful work!

It was a good job done by this company from the time I called to schedule an appointment to the job done on itself. The only thing I would say that is not a big deal but was keeping it from being perfect is that the technician was a bit late but since it was only a little late I don't think it's a big deal. Everything else went perfect again great job thank you for the help.

I appreciated the professionalism. He checked the drain line, checked connections, blower motor, condenser fan motor and compressor. He also checked, cleaned and tightened all electrical connections.

They came and checked our furnace and found out that it was shorted out. They fixed the problem at a good price and never gave us any trouble as everything was taken care of.

JW Heating and Air, Inc did alright for the big deal service. They were pushing the big system and they weren't talking about my existing one but that is okay as part of the job was being a sales man. He did what he came to do. He came in and did what he was supposed to do. I thought he was pushing for us to get a completely new system and a little harder than he should have been given that mine is in good shape but again that is just part of what he has to do as a sales man. The price is a little high. He went up on the roof and he spent 5 minutes up there. He looked up in my attic and he spent about 30 seconds up there and he was gone so, I mean, is that worth 89 dollars for him to say, well yeah, your air conditioning is in good shape. He went on to write me a statement saying 96% furnace will cost 12000 dollars, 5 ton and the ducts will cost me 18000 dollars and I just wanted to get my system checked. I wasn't ready to spend 18000 dollars but that was okay. It is okay as he did what he was paid to do. I would use them.

The guy they send me was very polite he came to tune up our HVAC and he did. He also did service on it he thought was necessary at little charge. Great job everything is going well liked their service I will continue to use them in the future.

What they promised on the "Big Deal" was I think the 20-point service. They came out and did all those things, gave me a written report. They did a very straightforward job. They followed up quickly. They were timely and professional. They did the job they were hired to do.

Called at 9:30 this morning to get somebody to look at my AC which is blowing warm air. The person that answered said they would call me back. 2 hours later, nothing. Called again and gave my address and what the issue was, then she tells me the earliest they can make it is friday. Why bury the lead? The first things I said was that I wanted somebody today and if they were too busy, I could call somebody else. I suppose I could have called multiple providers and went with the one that called first, but I don't like to do that. This experience was a total waste of time.

this provider told me he didn't make a commission on any repairs or sales he makes so I felt that his opinion would be unbiased- I had been dealing with another provider who every time they came to my house I was told I needed some horribly expensive part not covered by the warranty of course- it became worrisome so I had this provider in for the second opinion- and he said my AC unit didn't need the "repair" recommended by the other provider- which would have cost me over $1000- I appreciate the honesty of this company and will be using them in the future to do the maintenance on my heating AC unit

Great! He was actually a bit early, but called to make sure that was all right. It was. He was professional, cleaned up after his work, clear on exactly what he was going to do. I could not be more pleased.

I will use JW HVAC services again in the future for any HVAC needs. They are not the cheapest one, but definitely more responsible, professional and worth the money. Thanks Carlos coming on time, explain to me what needs to be done without replace the unit. Cleanup and double check everything before he left.

I was told once that we all have Angels who help us out everyday. It's just that we may not notice. Well, my wife and I majorly noticed that J.W. Heating and Air, Inc. - specifically Ted, Shawn, Ignacio and Cary - were most definitely Angels who rescued us from a disaster of truly epic proportions. You might think I'm being factious. Not at all. Let me explain. My wife and I live in the home I was born in. It was built 63 years ago in late 1952. My parents moved in and never left. I'm the kid who inherited it. Unfortunately, the only insulation up in the attic was the original, utterly disintegrated, batting from 1952. Also, the air ducts installed in 1991 when the house was converted from a swamp cooler to A/C, were leaking A/C and Heating into the attic through a myriad of broken junctures. And we had old asbestos wrapped pipes, also remnants from the swamp cooler. My wife and I were originally going to remove the asbestos last year, that is until we discovered our house had aged out of the Earthquake Insurance we wanted unless we had it retrofitted. Our 2014 funds went for that, but we had decided on a contractor for the asbestos and kept that bid. When we were ready to address the asbestos now, we contacted that same company for a new bid. The owner graciously said he'd honor the bid from last year if we agreed to pay him in cash. We agreed. We were told the asbestos would be removed in one day and that we'd get our air samples the same day. Timing was very important as J.W. Heating was coming in the next day. The owner of the asbestos company assured us this would not be a problem. Well, in one day his crew managed to create such a disaster, it was now no longer possible for J.W. Heating to do their job and barely got us the sample report on time. Mind you, this was THE DAY BEFORE J.W. Heating was supposed to show up. And it was the afternoon of the day before at that. I was in a panic. My wife was in a panic. Well I called Ted, (the amazing Ted!) in tears and terror letting him know what had happened. I was such a basket case my wife who was at work had to call to clarify what I was trying to say. WITHOUT HESITATION Ted said - DON'T WORRY - WE'LL TAKE CARE OF IT. AND THEY DID!!!! There was such wreckage and so many unexpected challenges our amazing J.W.Heating crew - Shawn and Ignacio - encountered, We saw the state of what they had to deal with. That Shawn and Ignacio not only did all the work on the contract, THEY DID ALL THE EXTRA WORK and still managed to finish IN ONE DAY!!! Our attic is sparkling clean with brand new R-38 batt insulation. All brand new air ducts, suspended and strapped securely. . A second attic fan and a new dormer in the roof. They had to fix all our registers, replace damaged boots and the air duct connector elbows, as well as replace and seal all register covers. They even replaced and sealed our two A/C returns!!!!! Ted, Shawn, Ignacio and Cary saved us from the facing the ravages of a Southern California summer without A/C.. We can't imagine what would have been our fate if we had gone with a different company. There really ought to be another language for transcendent feelings. Thank you seems so inadequate. Grateful, so insignificant. And when all was said and done, Ted brought us a gift of wine!!!! Over the top. This isn't just sublime customer service, this is treating clients like family. My wife and I know we are not all that special. If J.W. Heating treated us this way. If they rode to our rescue without batting an eye then this is how this company functions for everyone. From estimate, to finish J.W. Heating is a first class act. Please. Please. Please. If you are doing any Heating/Cooling related work to your home CALL J.W. HEATING, INC. You not only won't regret it, my wife and I believe you will be as blown away by their amazing quality of work, professional yet personal demeanor and just plain fabulousness for a very reasonable price.

They did a great job. I signed a contract with them to do it annually for me. They did an inspection on my machine. It's only 5 years old. They did something like an 18 point inspection and said it was in great shape and charged me whatever the bargain deal was. The guy was very good. He was clean, very efficient. They were here on time. Otherwise they wouldn't have gotten the contract I sent them.

We decided to go with a different company, but Dustin was great. He came out to our home, listened to our needs/wants, checked out areas that need work and quickly provided an estimate.

I had bought 2 certificates for a service to check my air conditioners. One of the units wasnt working, not blowing air. I was informed that the unit needed a new motor and there was a possible leak in a coil, which was told if there is a leak it could not be repaired and the unit would have to be replaced. Since there was not definite proof that the coil was leaking, we decided to replace the motor, which was $436.00. Even with my two certificates the cost before replacing the motor was $800.00. I asked what the cost of replacing the unit would be and was told it would be $8600.00 but they would credit back the $1200 for the repairs. I then found the name of the people that installed the unit and called them. They told me that the coil could be replaced and its being done under warranty and then we asked about a new unit, and was quoted for a new unit with more power than the one we have now for a cost of $5000.00 installed. BIG BIG difference in cost. So I would never use or call this company again. Instead of trying to repair, they tried to talk me into a new unit.

I chose not to use them at this time.

I had emailed the provider to contact me about getting an estimate. I got an automated response back, but I did not hear from them, so I decided to call them to follow up, and they finally sent someone to the home. They said they would email me the proposal, but again I did not hear from them, and called several times asking when they would send the proposal. After many calls I decided to call and let them know that I would have to go with another company since they can never get it together to send the estimate. They said again that someone would call me back, at this point it really would not matter if they call back. I told the person who answers the phone that if it is this hard to get them to send a proposal, I can't image how hard it would be to get them out to do the actual work. And even after saying that it did not seem to phase the person on the phone. I am assuming this is very common practice with them, especially after the reaction of the person on the phone. Joe

I have a service contract with JW that covers 2 inspections per year---furnace and A/C. The Spring inspection was June 15, and on that call I authorized some parts replacements to prevent a Summer breakdown. Then, on June 22, the master fan became dislodged from the motor spindle. I shut the unit down and called JW. Denise and Cary had their techs on 12-hour days, but managed to put Mark on the case. He arrived before 7:00 PM, after his last scheduled service call that day, and fixed the problem in about 5 minutes, at no charge. In this case, JW honored their contract and stood behind their work. And they did so when it matters---on a hot day when they are super busy. So it's a good bet I will renew that service contract next year.

It went really well. The technician, Mark B. came on time , he was extremely courteous. He asked me a few questions and then went on the roof to looked at my air conditioner, did the necessary service to ensure that it will continue to cool and heat my home. He explained everything he was doing. Provided me some information on my unit and made sure I was completely satisfied before he left.

I highly recommend JW Heating and Air. We moved into a new house and decided to replace the entire HVAC system in our home. Ted, from JW, was our point person. From beginning to end, Ted and his team were polite, courteous, professional and knowledgable. Ted went over all of our options and made recommendations based on the specifics of our home. Everything was done within the time frame estimated. The team showed up on time everyday and were very conscientious. The system works perfectly and we could not be happier with the quality of their work. One more thing. We bought one of the digital systems that allows you to control settings from your phone or computer. My wife and I both work so we are always busy during the week, and were unable to be present when the manager finished the job. Ted agreed to come over on a Sunday so that he could personally walk us through the entire set up. He explained all of the features and showed us how to work the app. Not only that, but he brought over a bottle of Champagne as a house warming gift! They did a fantastic job and I would highly recommend them for all of your heating and air-conditioning needs.

From start to finish - it went well. Made the appointment and the woman that answered the phone was polite and professional. We were emailed our appointment reminder with the time frame and a picture of the Service Tech. Our Service Pro was named Fernando C and he called about 30 min before he arrived to say he was on his way. When He got here he was beyond polite and professional, and got right down to business. He did the diagnostic work, found a minor problem, told me my options and then fixed it. He cleaned up after himself, respected the property and surroundings, and was helpful when answering my questions. Fernando and JW will be the first people I call when I have an issue and recommend a HVAC Company - Thank you!

Inspection and tune up went well. Also got a diagnosis of future potential issues given the age and condition of the system and advice on changing parts or replacing system down the line. The technician also provided information about government tax rebates on energy efficient units.
