They charged way too much for what they moved. They changed their price twice and the second time they more than doubled it and by then I was stuck as I had to move in a small window if time and no other company could do it They also damaged my refrigerator and it still isnâ t working properly.

With that said, I will say that the reason your estimate increased is that the inventory you provided over the phone, was not at all the inventory in the home on your walkthrough, and your weight on your move more than doubled, as did the hours it would take to get the job done. As for a damaged refrigerator, this is the first we have heard of this, and your move was in July, so if there are damages that you would like to go over, please give us a call so we can discuss. Within moments of submitting my request for information Mod Movers sent an initial confirmation they received my request. Because it was after 9;00pm they would call in AM which she did. Within 2hrs they had two consultants at my home to generate a quote. After two comparisons I quickly called to secure Mod Movers Services. Their entire field and customer service staff are professional, polite and remove the stress o moving at an exceptional rate. They won t nickel and Dime you. No doubt they are a product of great leadership.f I observed the lead mover treat his moving crew with respect and took advantage of every opportunity to teach and help them my move was considered long distance. They artived 7am next morning on schedule and ready to unload. Mod movers made my move worry free and stress free. Thank you Mod movers for an exceptional customer experience!

My husband I are in our late 80s. When our only grandchild told us she was expecting & that they wanted us to move nearer to them, we said;Yes We moved from Watsonville CA to Grass Valley CA. I researched movers very thoroughly & interviewed 5 companies. Mod Movers is so far superior to the others.We have moved many times in our lives & we are amazed at how far above the rest Mod Movers is. They were quite considerate of our age. Jesse made us many promises; he and his crew kept all of them. They moved us on my 87th birthday & we can't thank them enough for their care expertise. We hope that we never move again, but if we do they will do the job.

Next time I would ask for a estimate in advance they gave me a window of cost from this to that and of course it was the high end only.

I'm sorry you felt the estimate wasn't given prior to service, but since you requested a ballpark estimate over the phone, sight unseen, I was not able to give you an actual estimate until the crew arrived and made their assessment of the job. The estimate was actually $200 less than the ballpark price you were given over the phone, so I was very happy I was able to save you money. Your 2 story home had extremely high windows and many of them inside and out. I received the photos of the before and after job and they looked immaculately clean.
