No problems with the task and they were in & out quickly.

I had to give them a B for quality because the outlet was not perfectly lined up with the adjacent switch. However, I am very pleased with the owner and his services. I now have an electrician for all future jobs. We are planning some upgrades and Charles Young will get these jobs.

He was great. Arrived when scheduled, didn't ask for more money unlike the plumber that I used and would never recommend to anyone.. Chris was very professional and I will use him for anything electrical I have in the future.

Charles Young Electric sent two electricians out and they were both courteous and professional. I was please with the end result and would hire them again.

The work was completed in a very thorough and professional manner. The only problem was that I underestimated what this job would cost and wound up pay a hefty sum on top of the $99.00. I should have asked in advance, so that's my fault. The work completed, however, was first class.

I never heard from him after I purchased the deal. I ended up having to contact him. I asked him if I was in his service area. He said I wasn't in his service area so he would have to charge an additional 60.00 to 70.00 to have him come out and do the work.

I kind of already explained what happened above. They did assure me that my electrical is in good condition and recommended some outlets that need to be replaced. I told them to get back to me and let me know how much it would cost for them to do the work but I haven't heard anything yet. The hour went very quickly. They worked fast and seemed to be thorough, but due to their speed one does wonder were they really thorough? I like to think that they were. I do believe I'll use a local company to come in and perform the work they identified though.

They arrived early and prepared as they had asked for details about the job ahead of time, even having me email them digital pictures of the electrical box and existing fixtures.. This enabled to them come prepared with the necessary parts. They worked quickly and cleaned up after themselves. What more could one ask? I have used Charles Young before and will again whenever I need electrical work.

I ended paying $350 in addition to the $99 for the Angie's List deal. All I received for the additional money was an outlet to plug lights into. I had to purchase and install the lights on my own. To be fair, I don't know too much about running outlets, etc., but the cost seemed excessive for what I received.

Very quick and efficient, conduit was in, they supplied the wire, circuit breaker and switch box. The location of the box was outside to control the lights,but Heiath/Zenith makes a very good remote unit which allows me to control the lamps from inside the house or anywhere within 100 feet.

Charles let me explain what I was trying to do, and then asked several questions. He then made a suggestion that indicated he understood the problem and had a clever mind. After we agreed on what was to be done, he went about his work in a very business like fashion, completing the job just as had been proposed and discussed. Regards, Jim DeFerrari

Charles was very accommodating regarding scheduling a time for the work, thus making it possible for me to get the necessary electircal work done before additional construction. I explained generally what was needed over the phone and he scheduled the whole day to meet my needs. Upon his arrival, my wife and I went over all the work needed, which was well beyond the scope of the work called for in the two Big Deals I purchased (two hours of electrical work and four cans of recessed lighting). Charles and one additional person worked non-stop for about eight hours, installing seven cans of recessed lighting and one hanging light, and wiring a partially constructed pantry for two additional lights. Charles had great ideas for how the lighting should be done, which was an improvement over what we had originally envisioned, and he let us know about the progress throughout the day, ensuring that we were included in the decision making for changes that needed to be made because of unexpected issues. I was clear to me and my brother-in-law, and engineer very familiar with the construction trade, that Charles is one of those rare individuals who takes pride in their work and ensures that the work is "done the right way," as opposed to taking short cuts. He charged me a very reasonable price for all of the additonal work we asked for, and he was an absolute pleasure to work with. Without a doubt, I will hire Charles for ANY additional electrical work I need in the future.

The workers did an excellent job. I am very happy with the results and would highly recommend their services.

We bought an Angie's list deal for electrical services; the owner arrived when scheduled and was very professional and knowledgeable. We had several areas of concern -- one was a garage outlet that we believed was not working, causing us to plug in a garage refrigerator to a different outlet using an extension cord. The owner determined the outlet was connected to another outlet inside the home that was made to click off when there was too much load, etc. The refrigerator outlet actually was working perfectly. He explained the problem to us and set our minds at ease. Other areas of concern were two overhead light fixtures that quickly burned bulbs out as soon as we put them in. In one he was able to adjust wiring, and the outlet no longer burns out bulbs; in another he replaced the outlet. He explained as he went along what the problems were and what he was doing. He did not try to upsell us but reassured us that we did not need an overall rewiring. Extremely knowledgeable and professional. We will definitely use this contractor for any electrical work we need in future.

They did great work, but they could be a bit better with the customer friendliness.

I thought it would take him and his assistant 30 minutes to get the old lighting down - but that was how much time it took him to get the old fixture down and the new one up. By the way, this was something that my wife prohitied me from doing because of the dangerous nature to a DIYer. Then, while his assistant carefully drilled holes in our outside wall to tap into an inside outlet to install an outside plug, Charles fixed several light switches around the house which were problematic.

They were wonderful! They gave excellent service and were there on time. They did a great job. I would recommend them.

They were able to come out earlier than scheduled. Two electricians came out and reviewed the places I wanted outlets installed. One place was a good location for an outlet. The other spot I had picked they said could potentially be a problem with tripping the circuit. I was very impressed that rather than sell me something that could lead to problems, they were willing to let me choose the safest thing for my home. The work was done quickly, efficiently and they cleaned up after themselves.

Charles Young and partner called before coming at the designated time, arrived on time and went right to work. When I called Charles Young to set up an appointment, I explained what work needed to be done Charles Young had to go to Home Depot to get some supplies that were needed for the power tie in and outlet installation. This took him about 45 minutes. Using other contractors in the past, they normally have a good supply of the most common materials used in their vehicle. Since I used the $99 deal for 2 hours of electrical services for one man or one hour for 2 men, I was not aware of how many helpers that Charles Young would be using and approximately how long the jobs would take. If I called him for a free estimate, I would not be able to use the special $99 deal. My suggestion, if you want to know how many helpers = man hours and to make sure that the company has all the supplies needed for the job, without making a special trip, I suggest getting a free estimate versus the $99 deal.

The two workers were great. Great professionalism, and pleasant personalities. I will definitely want them here again if we need them.

If Charles is booked up, wait for him. He is that good. He is extremely skilled and pleasant to work with. He does not know the word can't. With existing home projects, unexpected things are always revealed that were unexpected. Charles is very good at problem solving. He insists also that it has to not just look good and work right, but it has to be correct to code as well. His prices are very fair. They left the site as clean as they found it. He and his brother are a joy to work with.

We were really happy with their services. They showed up on time, were very efficient, and everything went well! I’d recommend them and use their services again.
