They did a fantastic job. They were on time, they did exactly what needed done.

Charles was very patient with me as I had to reschedule our meetings a couple of times due to family concerns. He was gracious about the changes and stayed in contact until we could actually find a time for him to come to the house when I was actually at home. He was prompt, and professional. He walked me through my options and told me about the work that would have to be done and how long it would take. In the end I chose another company to do the work, but I would not hesitate to you Charles Young in the future. I have used him in the past, and his work, attitude, and skills are top notch.

We adore this company. We initially found him through Angies List and we bought some kind of a package for a one hour consult, because we thought we had some outlets that were faulty. He came out for that and it was great. Then this year we had him come back to add outlets outside in the backyard and he had two guys working with him and he was just fantastic. They run all these different outlets through our backyard shed cover and they are all perfectly wired and set up with covers and everything. And he did a bunch of outdoor lights. It's just been great. Of all the projects we've done this spring, it is the only one that was perfectly done the first time. We thought the price was very reasonable for what they did. We have a list that is growing and we will have them come out again.

There was no problem scheduling with Charles Young Electric. They were very prompt in returning phone calls and getting here. He was very courteous, very clean. I had no problems with it. It actually costed more because of where I wanted the lights and that only paid part of the work that I had done. He was really good. He did what I asked. He was very communicative working out where to put the lights. He did have somebody helping him. I would definitely get an estimate from them.

Charles Young Electric was good. They got it done within the allotted time without having to go over so that was good. I didn't have any problems with them so I give them A for everything.

Great the guys showed up were very professional and easy to talk to. Did a great job and looks and operates great. Answered questions and informed of us on options on everything from the remotes to the dimmers to the choice of different bulbs. Great guys and I will look to have them out for additional fans through out the house. Price was great. A bargin.

Our experience with them was absolutely wonderful. They were such great guys and they just went above and beyond. They came out like 2 days after I purchased the "Big Deal". They were very respectable. They kept everything clean and they cleaned up after themselves. The two boys that came out here were wonderful. I think the price was appropriate for what we got.

I was called shortly after I left a message on their machine that i was setting up a work date. They explained to me that there would be extra cost if the bracing was not in place. I understood that I would be charged another $85. if the bracing needed to be installed. The workers came on time, left my home clean and neat and i just love the fan.....It works perfectly...

It was a fine experience. I paid little bit extra for the LED fixtures apart from the deal. They were professional. They came on time, knew what basically what they were doing. I would use them again.

It went smoothly. They did a nice job. The finished product looks great.

The work was excellent. They were courteous, professional, and timely; they came when they say they would. They cleaned up after themselves. We would use them again.

They had to climb thru the attic and fish wires thru the isullation to hang exterior security lighting. They did a great a job.

I purchased the Angie's List Big Deal for the installation of a ceiling fan for $84.00. Charles called me back quickly and scheduled me for later that day. He went over my purchase and let me know if I needed anything else for the installation. He charged me an additional $250.00 for the installation. Like I said I did not have an existing fixture. They had to cut a whole in the ceiling and run new wiring to the fixture plus this was a high sloped ceiling. At first I thought $250.00 was a little high. After they did the additional work I thought it was very fair for the additional charge. The guys showed up right when they said they would be here. They did a GREAT job and I would recommend them to anyone. They were knowledgeable and professional. They made sure everything worked and also installed the remote control and balanced the fan.

I purchased a $69 Angie's List Big Deal special offer for this service. I had some additional charges for this project so I paid about $400 total. For the service provided the guys did excellent work but they did not tell me that I would be charged a specific amount of dollars per hour, per man. I thought any additional rate would be a flat hourly rate; I did not realize I would be charged per person and I had two people come out instead of one. It was very misleading. He did knock about $100 off the bill but I was unhappy with the total amount. They also were having problems getting stuff through my wall and it ate up a lot of time. Although I can see where the difficulty may have been I thought one guy could have done the job, although there were two guys working. Their per person, per hour rate added up quickly when they took an additional couple of hours. Their work ethic was good but when it came to knowing all the disclosures and the actual amount of the thing I would not give them high marks. I did not anticipate that type of money problem. Everything works exactly as it is supposed to but I was not expecting such an additional charge.

A++++++++ David and Marcus from Charles Young Electric arrived on time and were super nice. Actually they were hilarious. I found them very plesant, informative, and full of personality. I really value that when I have services done in my home. I'm a single woman home owner and can not stand when its "awkward" or "uncomfortable". So I really appreciate the way this work got done. Marcus climbed up in the attic and David helped guide him thru the process of fixing my ceiling fan "inforcement-stability" issue. They even fought off wasps that had built a nest in my power box. It was great. :O) Overall these two are wonderful and Charles definetly should give them a raise. They both are great assets to this company. I would recommend them to others and will be calling them for all my future electrical work.

Charles thought to call a few days ahead, to find out how tall my ceiling was (so they would bring a tall enough ladder), and to be sure I realized I needed to buy a longer down-rod for my fan. If he hadn't done that, I wouldn't have known only a very short one is included in the box. Marcus and Dave arrived promptly, with all necessary tools and equipment. They were very thorough, being extremely careful to be sure the fans were solid and didn't wobble, that the wiring was correct, and that they cleaned up every particle of mess they made. At my condo, they creatively figured out a way to install the fan where there was previously no wiring, without creating any new holes in my sloping ceiling. At my office, they got Charles' OK to repair a error in the previous electrical work for a modest fee. They're based in Elk Grove, so I paid an additional mileage charge to Woodland, but it really didn't even cover the extra half-hour of wages to the two guys. I hired them based on a coupon from Angie's List, but I would call them back for any future electrical needs. A note to Angie's List coupon purchasers. Please have the coupon from your Angie's List purchase handy. They have unfortunately been burned by people who bought, then cancelled, the Angie's List deal, leaving Charles and his guys without payment for work they did.

All went well. The two service people were later than scheduled but had called well ahead to let me know they were behind schedule. They were competent, couteous, and diligent workers.

THIS is why everyone should use Angie's List! After calling FOUR other electricians and getting not one call back, I went to Angie's list and saw the reviews for Charles Young Electric. He called back within the hour, and was able to send two OUTSTANDING young men over to take care of the work. They went above and beyond- putting the battery alarm back on the wall (after PROPERLY getting the screws in!), and took my ladder back down to the garage for me. They were both professional, courteous and knowledgeable. We will DEFINITELY be calling back for any other electrical work that needs to be done, as well as recommending to our complex. Charles was very accommodating regarding scheduling a time for the work, thus making it possible for me to get the necessary electrical work done before additional construction. I explained generally what was needed over the phone and he scheduled the whole day to meet my needs. Upon his arrival, my wife and I went over all the work needed, which was well beyond the scope of the work called for in the two Big Deals I purchased (two hours of electrical work and four cans of recessed lighting). Charles and one additional person worked non-stop for about eight hours, installing seven cans of recessed lighting and one hanging light, and wiring a partially constructed pantry for two additional lights. Charles had great ideas for how the lighting should be done, which was an improvement over what we had originally envisioned, and he let us know about the progress throughout the day, ensuring that we were included in the decision making for changes that needed to be made because of unexpected issues. It was clear to me and my brother-in-law, an engineer very familiar with the construction trade, that Charles is one of those rare individuals who takes pride in his work and ensures that the work is "done the right way," as opposed to taking short cuts. He charged me a very reasonable price for all of the additional work we asked for, and he was an absolute pleasure to work with. Without a doubt, I will hire Charles for ANY additional electrical work I need in the future.

I called to schedule an appointment and was able to get service the next day. The guys showed up on time and ready to work. They got to work right away.n Within an hour my ceiling fan was up and working. They kept tidy and cleaned up once they were finished.

I had contacted Charles to give me estimate for removing the old lighting fixture and put in recessed lighting. He arrived promptly for the estimate and gave suggestions for recessed lighting. On mentioning Angie's List Big Deal, he promised to give me the same pricing. Overall we installed 9 recessed lights and a dimmer switch (bought by me). His crew was very professional and courteous. We do not have a attic, so it was trial and error to find the right spots to put in the recessed lights. The whole task was completed in 5 hours with very little damage to the ceiling. The crew did a good job to cleanup after they were done. Overall very satisfied with Charles Young's work and will definitely work with him in future.
