Steve is very friendly and professional. The service was awesome.

They have done an excellent job every time, in a timely manner and at a very reasonable price. My most recent house had ducts that were in need of a full cleaning which took the better part of a day and really improved the air quality in the house. Steve and his business always go above and beyond when I do business with them.

He said Steve was professional and knowledgeable and gave good advice. My husband was worried about our wood floors being scratched when the insert was pulled out but said Steve was careful. Price was very good.

I called Steve this morning to inquire about cleaning the chimney. He said he was available right then and would come to the house immediately! Within in 15 minutes Steve arrived! Talk about awesome!! As far as I know the chimney hasn't been cleaned in over 4 years when I bought the home. I plan on finally using the fireplace, I am very novice when it comes to fireplaces. Steve was very informative and answered all of my questions. He also told me that I need a chimney cap to stop water from getting into the chimney, he said that he sells them but he is about saving his customers money and I could buy one from the store for $65. I can't believe there are actually people who are still out there who actually want to help their customers save money! I will definitely be using Steve for any of my fireplace needs in the future! Hadn't used my chimney for several years. Owner of Clovis Chimney arrived on time, explained the process he would use and provided information on my type of chimney I had. He showed me best/safest way to light the fireplace, cleaned it and the glass fireplace doors. He was very professional, in fact he even charged me less than he had originally quoted based on work he had to perform, would definitely hire him again. <br />

At 3:04p on December 12 2012, I called Steve at Clovis Chimney Sweep. He was unable to schedule me because he didn't have his appointment book. <br /> I called back at 3:45p the next day, (13th) and we discussed rates. He quoted me $150 to clean my chimney and that he was available on the 26th. I told him I'd call back later that day to confirm. <br /> I called back at 6:35p the same day, and I got an outgoing voicemail notification stating the mailbox was full. <br /> At 6:40p, I texted him this message: <br /> Hi Steve, this is Anne Marks. We spoke earlier today. Our address is .... I am authorized to take the appointment you offered on the 26th. Your voicemail is full, so I did not leave a message. Please confirm that you are able to come out. Thank you. <br /> The 26th came and went. No contact. I called him today at 1:20p still, no answer and no room to leave a message in the voicemail. <br /> I am so very disappointed. <br /> We are <strong>still waiting</strong> to use our fireplace. <br /> We would have used someone else, had we known we were going to wait <strong>2 weeks</strong> only to be ignored. <br /> Waste of time! <br />

He also took the time to explain what I <br /> would need to do to maintain the fireplaces. He was very thorough. I <br /> was very pleased with all aspects of service. Arrived on time and cleaned the chimney. Gave me useful information about how frequently the chimney should be cleaned and how to take care of the fireplace so that it stays in great shape. <br />

When I called to schedule an appt. he was having problems with his computer, but said he could schedule the appt using his cell phone. I called him the day before the appt to confirm but did not get a call back. I called the day of the appt to try to confirm, and his voice mail was full. No call back. Very disappointed. <br />

He was very through, punctual, helpful, and gave us tips on how to keep things from getting so smokey in the house. He spent time talking to us about different inserts we could use and information on his history.

Called him in the morning, he came out same afternoon. He quoted a price over the phone based on my description of our house/fireplace. He worked quickly, was polite and professional and concluded with some goos advice.

Their quality is very good.

Steve did a very good job cleaning the vent and cleaned up the area before leaving. He wore shoe covers, was very polite and very professional.

I have not had my chimney cleaned in a few years; I called Clovis Chimney they gave me a date they could come and a time range. He arrived within that period and did an excellent job of cleaning; even the doors sparkled on our insert. They had quoted me a higher price and I was willing to pay it but when I went to write the check he said because he did not have to move the insert it would be a lower price. I like honest people; I will have them cleaning my chimney from now on. He was also very helpful with some questions I had.
