Torres Landscaping

Not good at all. Concrete was poured, and poured very very poorly. The walk way part is already lifting up less than 1 year old, cracks everywhere.

Alex showed up when he said he would and really sounded like he knew a lot about concrete. The problem I had was he was not going to pour concrete under where my Air conditioner sits, he was just going to pour around the plastic square my A/C sits on. This is the fourth house I have owned and poured concrete the same way every-time and I have never had anybody try to do that. In my opinion this is being very lazy and not professional at all. If I wasn't home this is what he would have done. So Alex agreed to put the A/C unit on blocks and pour under it. When he did this he did not pour enough concrete under the unit so now its a very low spot. This is where my A/C should sit on the concrete he poured, but if I did this it would sit in water.I have tried to get Alex back out to fix what he messed up, but I have had no luck. So until I fix it myself it remains messed up. I would not use Torres landscaping again. I also got other bids that were $400 cheaper but I choose Alex because I thought he would do a better job.

I contacted Alex, the owner to inquire about my project and immediately I was impressed by his knowledge and professionalism and the price quote was extremely competitive.
We set a time and date to perform the job walk and discussed in every detail what my options were and how the job will be conducted.
As promised, the crew showed up on time and carried out exactly what Alex and I originally discussed. During the entire job, they had the upmost respect for my property by being careful around existing landscaping, driveways, walkways and vehicles.
The crew was very courteous and professional and left me with the impression that I had known them for years.
The final look was absolutely amazing!! I am very pleased with Torres Landscaping and will be using them for my future landscaping projects. It was real pleasure doing business with Alex and his crew and are welcome back anytime.

When the concrete job was completed I immediately told Mr. Torrez that the concrete wasn't high enough to allow the water to flow away from the my house. He said he laser graded it and I won't have any problem. Well he was wrong and when it rains or if water of any kind go on that side it sits there in a huge puddle next to the house. Which may cause damage. Mr.Torrez was notified several times and never showed up to fix the job prior to the damage. I hear his dad who started the business was a good man with ethic. I quest it didn't rub of on the son. Very disappointed I paid him the same day with no hesitation i will never do that again.

Alex is truthful and trustworthy.  As a stay at home mom I felt at ease with him in my backyard.  He is respectful and professional and we are very pleased with his extensive knowledge and straight-forward good solid work.

Couldn't ask for more professional and all around great honest person to do the job. I had just recently purchased a brand new home with a somewhat small unfinished backyard that needed the basics (sprinklers, sod, flowerbeds, etc.). Prior to calling Torres Landscaping I had already had a estimate done by another well known landscaping company and wasn't to impressed with price I was given with it being close to seven thousands dollars. I called on a Monday afternoon to see about setting up a appointment for the free estimate that they advertised and I spoke to Mr. Alex Torres he was very polite and professional over the phone and ended up meeting with me the very next afternoon. The estimate was done quickly and Alex was very reassuring that he could do the job with no problems. Alex quoted the job at "HALF" the price of what the other landscaping company wanted and on top of that Alex was able to start the next day. Alex rounded up his crew and had my backyard changed from night to day in less then 8hrs I was amazed! When we first spoke with him, he could get to it right away but by the time we decided to go with him and were ready, he was booked a couple of weeks out.  However, he fit us in and we were all finished by the date he was to begin the work.  Very happy with the entire project and with Alex  and his team.  Would definitely recommend him and would use him again.  It ended up costing us a little more than his estimate because we changed a few things as they were working which meant more cement and we chose a more expensive block for our retainer wall which was not included in the original estimate.  He was very accommodating to our changes.  We are completely satisfied.  He was very adamant about our being satisfied with the entire job from start to finish.  Don't feel like he was just a contractor for us but now a friend we would trust to do more work.

This went well. My wife and I loved the professionalism of the owner and how he explained to us the process. The service was fast. We called on a Friday evening he was there Saturday afternoon and installed on Monday. All around great service.

Alex was very easy to work with. Did everything he said he would at a reasonable cost. Good communication,quality materials and excellent cleanup. Job was finished ahead of promised time. I would recommend him highly for your landscape project.

Alex did an incredible job. He came to our home and gave an accurate and very fair estimate. He gave us bids for everything that needed and may be needed to be done so there were so surprises. He took us personally to the nursery and rock company to pick out our plants and landscaping needs. The job was done quickly, exactly as agreed to, and the area where deliveries were made, driveway, were cleaned. He did a great job and we will use him again for our concrete needs. So nice working with a contractor who is fair, honest, and professional.

Yes ,Torres Landscaping did the job in a timely and effiecient manner. All questions were answered and the price was reasonable. I will consider them again for future jobs.

Work was completed as part of a complete backyard landscape.  Alex was professional, he took time to ensure that the pad was perfectly squared, he was familiar with the area and the soil and used material or mix accordingly.  The stepping stones were completed free hand by one of the workers.  Work was completed on time as promised.

Worked was completed in a 5 day time frame as stated.
