Warning!! Do not get your house remodeled by stock dale kitchen. Took them 8 months to complete a small kitchen remodel when I signed a contract stating it should only take them 3 months.They made appointments to come fix my kitchen no call no shows. They have one poor guy completing 20 jobs at the same time. No wonder it’s taking them so long.Finally after 8 months of this mess.I have a kitchen but a very poorly done kitchen. I’m no professional and I could of done a better job But I paid a suppose professional. Ill be posting pics below.These liars filed a restraining order a week after my husband called to complain.saying that he threatened them. Allegations were false but who believes anyone with a record.Only because I posted a bad review.So now they can’t fix the issues they promised they would fix. Because of the restraining order. These people filed a false report only to get out of fixing the mistakes they made.please save yourself the headache and find yourself a better qualified professional.

It went very slowly. No real time-line was given, and I got the distinct impression my job was being worked in between other bigger jobs. Since I was out of the home for a good part of the demolition and construction and not able to monitor on a daily basis, I visited on four separate occasions to observe work and progress only to find no one working at all! It was a very frustrating process and necessitated my calling frequently for update reports, or to discuss a design issue that was different from my initial conception. Part of the problem was that I recieved no official design on paper as part of the contract. Certain things that had been discussed with the designer/contractor had been left out of the bid and therefore not addressed, i.e. pedestal sink restoration, painting the new window frame. I had some issues with the tile work, mostly in design, and was able to talk to the individual directly and able to work things out, but when a sub-contractor asks you if the conversation is being recorded, you have to wonder. The over all end result is satisfactory but the process and lack of communication was very disappointing. The project started in September, and to this day, some of the flaws in the project have not been addressed despite repeated calls to the contractor. One of the problems that I could see as a consumer was that there was no one individual who served as project manager, who would coordinate each step of the process and to assure work was being done in a timely and efficient manor. Also no plan for quality assurance seemed to be in play. No one from the company came to see the final product and to assure my satisfaction.

Perfect, Rick and crew did an excellent job and we were very pleased with the quality of work. Everyone there went out of their way to please us and give us exactly what we wanted. they definitely deliver on all they said they would do!

Initial timeline was for 4 to 5 weeks for the remodel project. Total project was 8 weeks. My wife had to continuously call to find out when the contractor was going to be back to work on the cabinets, the flooring, the countertops, the painting, etc. Contractor would work for 2 or 3 hours and then go home and not return for days at a time. It felt like we were a side job. The contractor failed to pull a permit for the electrical work. This was discovered by an inspector who happened to be visiting my home to sign off the work done on a new solar panel installation (different project). When the inspector noticed that the kitchen remodel was under way, he asked the contractor for a copy of the permit and the contractor said that he didn't know that he needed one. This cost us an additional week delay in the project and was a bit disturbing. The contractor was also willing to leave holes in the sheetrock on the wall behind the cabinets and when we commented about the holes (baseball sized) he said that nobody would see them once the cabinets were installed. We argued that the holes weren't there when the old cabinets were installed and that they needed to be filled in prior to hanging the new cabinets. Regarding the quotation for the project: the contractor (owner of Stockdale Kitchen and Bath) told us during the prejob meeting to discuss pricing that he could do a granite countertop for between $1000 and $1500. He also said that it would cost another $1000 for a tiled back splash. Once the project was underway, we were told that the dollar figures didn't include material. We also found out after the project was underway that the contractor did not plan to paint the kitchen and didn't include that in the price. We had to pay additional for that to be done or else would have had to do the painting ourself. The finish work was not good and everywhere the cabinets mated up against a wall or ceiling, you could see crooked paint lines. This was because the contractor installed the cabinets before painted the walls and ceiling. Several of the cabinet shelves didn't line up and one of the lazy susans wouldn't open all the way because of hitting the adjacent stove. When it came time to install our new refrigerator, we literally had to force it into the cabinet opening because the contractor designed the opening for the exact width of the refrigerator. There is zero clearance on the sides of the refrigerator. Throughout the project, the communication was very poor on the part of the contractor. For each issue we raised regarding the quality of the work, the canned response from the contractor was that it was "industry standard". This coming from a man who bragged at the outset about how he went above and beyond what most other contractors do as far as quality work.The only thing that went right with this project was that the cabinets arrived on time and as ordered. I would not recommend this contractor to anyone.

Stockdale Kitchen and Bath were very thorough. They did a good job. They were prompt in returning phone calls. Their service overall was very good. We had a couple of little hiccup that caused the project to take a little longer than anticipated, but it wasn't necessarily their fault. Otherwise, they were close to perfect. Their price was very reasonable. I would absolutely use them again.

Very pleased with whole process. Rick made home visit, and met with me in his office to design layout and create budget. Other companies wanted a down payment before the creative process began. The result was just what I wanted. I also liked the fact that Rick took me shopping to stay on budget.

I was very happy with their service. They were professional and cleaned up after themselves.

This was our first experience with this company and Owner Rick Sorci. The project went extremely well and we are very pleased with the overall results. Timing issues were minor; however, most of those were caused by modifications requested by us. The quality of the materials Rick recommended is definitely superior and the overall workmanship is obvious when inspecting the finished product. The subcontractors he employed were always pleasant and respectful and highly skilled at just about anything related to home construction. They always took the time to answer our numerous questions about how to do things around the home. Rick's availability was never a problem and we found him to be genuine and candid when discussing our ideas and we were very impressed by his creativity and design sense regarding our remodel. Tina, Rick's assistant, was always helpful and returned our calls within a reasonable amount of time. Quotes and specifications were emailed to us immediately which helped to minimize delays and reduce the number of necessary phone calls. We love the results and would highly recommend Stockdale Kitchen and Bath and Rick Sorci to our friends and neighbors.

The remodel went without a hitch. We had several design appointments. We took samples home and had a chance to see how each element would look in the room. Rick is a certified design expert and he was able to give us many great ideas. When the project began his craftsmen were outstanding. They arrived when they were suppose to and maintained a level of cleanliness that we appreciated. The project stayed on time and budget. Rick was always available to answer questions and he maintained the highest level of craftsmanship. The office is everything we had hoped for. It is easy to work in, the design elements are beautiful and I have given his name to many of my friends. We would highly recommend Stockdale Kitchen and bath to anyone wanting to remodel. We are planning to remodel our kitchen this year with Stockdale Kitchen and bath.

Once you made initial payments and the work starts there will be numerous times when you cannot get. Hold of anyone, especially if NO worker show up to work. They all have excuses like emergencies, doctor's appointments, and could not be contacted by their cell phones, even no one in the office is answering the phone.
One person basically did the installation of my cabinets, and he was careless, making numerous scratches on my cabinets, extra holes inside cabinets not covered or patched, drops tools on my newly installed porcelain floors, denies making the dings on the expensive cherry cabinets, and I had to point out poor workmanship on mitered corners! Cabinets were made and ordered by them out of state, were beautiful, but I had to point out poor installs by the very young man installing them! He was not into details:(. I had to repeatedly remind him to fix things, before it gets done. They also threw some trash into a dead space of a corner cabinet, and had to clean it out before the granite countertops were installed. Rick Sorci, hardly came around to check on the work unless I complained; and when you complain to him over the phone he defended his subcontractors without first looking at the job that was done! IT is now April, and a damaged cabinet front has not been replaced.

The one thing I was happy with is the look and finish of the cabinets ( made by Medallion Cabinetry)
I was also happy with the porcelain tile, but not the installation! I wanted a tight fit very narrow grout line, while I was making my choices, I made this clear and that the tile will butt to my existing hardwood floor, but when the tile people were ready to install, I was told it could not be done...I had no choice at that point, I have already paid 8K for these porcelain tiles ( not including install!!)

The tile subcontractors did a good job with installation, though not as what I have originally wanted.

I have3 bathrooms to do in the future, and Stockdale Cabinetry will DEFINITELY NOT do the work!!!!!

I should also call BBB!!!
