STAR FURNITURE

I purchased a dining room set with hutch from Star Furniture. The dining room table looked fine and the glass in the hutch I trusted was fine as they didn't have electricity to the middle of their warehouse so it couldn't be turned on. They delivered it and after they left I turned on the light to the hutch because I wanted to clean it up. There were bubbles all in the glass at the top of the middle door, so when I got my invoice out to call them I notices they charged me a delivery fee when they told me the day I purchased it that delivery was free on all purchases over $1000.00. I figured I would call and if they refunded the delivery fee that would help pay to get it fixed or they could fix it and not refund the delivery fee since I should have noticed that when I paid for it. Anyway Henry the manager said they have never offered free delivery, which is not true because in their commercials they cleary do. As far as the bubble in the glass he said there was nothing he could do since the item had already been delivered. Not wanting to help at all I had to call the BBB, they are just as bad as Star Furniture when it comes to doing the right thing. Star Furniture didn't respond to the BBB and they still gave them chance after chance and still did nothing to solve the problem. I just don't want others to go through this as this was my first big purchase and something I felt like I would have forever. A dining room set is a place where families gather and a place you make memories at. Everytime I look at mine I'm irritated and don't want anyone to go through that.
