I wouldn't recommend them. They are supposed to be professional restoration specialists. When they came out they said they would clean the carpet. I they had been upright professionals they would have told me to hold off on cleaning the carpet until the damage was accessed by the insurance company; but instead they cleaned the carpet and took our money. When our insurance company came out they told us it was a waste of time because they were going to replace our carpet. Ultimately, the insurance company paid for it but I thought Stanley Steemer were inappropriate and didn't help me out when they should have. They should have asked more questions and not just take the money and do their job.

I’ve used them several times and they cleaned my carpet beautifully. Professional companies use them also.

Very good experience.  They showed up when expected, went over problem areas multiple times.  Very friendly and nice.

They came on time and took a lot of time noting problem areas including a small wrinkle by the fireplace.  When they were done they left a huge wrinkle between the bedroom and sitting area right in the walking path.  They refused to fix it noting that there had been a small wrinkle by the fireplace (no where near the one in question).  They finally said they would send someone else out to fix it for an extra $75.  I reported them to the BBB and after some time the BBB reported that Stanley Steemer refused to reply.  I would never deal with these people again.  I did have another company fix the wrinkle as I felt it was a tripping hazard and had to pay them $75., but I wasn't going to pay Stanley Steemer for something they caused.

I have not been impressed at all. They are way too expensive for what they do. They were on time and they definitely were professional. The people were nice.
