Check engine light came on in my 05 Nissan. Took it to One Stop Smog in the morning instead of the dealership, by noon they called me and informed me of the work needed and the time it would take. Two days later I got my truck back with a pretty much rebuilt AC system without the hassle of the dealership. The truck at the time had 118000 miles on it today it has 131000. It's also been getting smogged at One Stop since 2007 along with our two other vehicles. Service was performed as described, nothing new was included. Very honest outfit whom I have used for years.

After repair, picked up the car. The low oil light on the dash would come and go, even though there was plenty of oil in the car. I had to take the car to a body shop to have the front bumper replaced, but after that was done, took it back to them to find the problem with the light. After keeping the car another 2 weeks, was told they could not find the problem, and had given up. When I went to pick up the car, the new front bumper was busted and broken at the drivers corner.
They refused to accept responsibility, denying everything. Then the oil pan started leaking again. They said file a claim with MY insurance company. My insurance company said to take them to court, which is what I am now preparing to do.

They were very quick and went over the results with me. I would have given an A grade were it not for a few money-related issues: it seemed to me quite expensive ($67 for smog). Maybe that's the going rate now. I also didn't like two of their policies: (1) The sign says that if your check engine light is on they will still do the check but it will be invalid and they will charge you anyway. (2) They charge extra for use of credit cards. Neither one is a deal breaker because they take debit and they fairly warn you before the smogging.

Everything was fine. My husband took the car to them. They were pretty fast. My husband used the coupon and there was no hassle. We have used them before for other things and we are their routine customers.
