Lesaca Landscape Company

It's been over six months since signing a contract with Javier. He cashed my check, killed my grass and no longer responds to requests to complete contracted services. I got scammed.

They never called!

I called & left a message on the office machine & Javier called me back the same day. We made an appointment for him to come look at the job a couple of days later. I had a basic idea of what I wanted, but no actual plan. Javier was able to take my disjointed ideas and convert them into a beautiful finished product. When he started the job, my front yard was just dirt. In just five working days, my yard is now beautiful. They converted my existing sprinkler system to part drip for the plants & part spray for the new grass. He asked me for a list of plants that I liked, then after reviewing the list; sent me pictures of the plants he planned on using in my yard for my approval. There were a couple of delays on the job due to the weather, but other than that everything went smoothly. I would definitely hire Javier again!!

I picked Lesaca based on Angie's list reviews. Once I called (in February 2017), someone called back the same day and set up an appointment to get a scope the job and answer my questions. Lesaca then expeditiously provided an estimate. Since Spring is a busy season, we did not settle on a precise date at the time I accepted the bid, but Lesaca said my job (a relatively small one) would fit in sometime in March. March arrived, and so did Lesaca, on March 7, taking less than a day to do the full job. Great work. Very satisfied.

Called a few of the companies. Only this one responded back. Javier was prompt and listened to me. Did not try to up sell me like others. Would go back to him for services if funding permitted.

Javier and crew were great they met my expectations and more with the amount of work and the time of the year the project took place I can't say enough for what they did. First the crew along with Mr.Lesaca removed two tree stumps by digging around the roots and runners and removing them, temperatures for this time of year is 102 degrees or more. Crew came in a rototilled old dead grass and raked and prepared area as needed then started the transformation with two new trees along with plants that are resistent to this area drought,spread decortive bark on surface as needed and finaly planted green bermuda grass, new sprinklers for grass and new watering system for plants.Javier also included a list of all plants that were installed with pictures of each individual plant.Each time the crew left at the end of the day the work site along with sidewalks and porch area were washed clean no clutter of any kind.

The company was completely unresponsive. I really wanted to get this work done so I tried to follow up with multiple emails and never got a reply. I made phone calls, but no one ever answered. I left voice messages on the company's office phone and even on the owner's personal cell phone and never once received a response.
I wasted several weeks trying to follow up with this unprofessional outfit before giving up and hiring another company, Landscape Legend, who did a very good job.

I called Lesaca Lanscape Co for a consult and estimate. Left a voice message at the office on a Friday stating that I was looking to completely re-landscape my backyard (remove and replace everything) . I requested a return call. Mr. Lesaca (Javier Lesaca) returned my call the following Monday and we set up an appointment to meet that Wednesday. On Wednesday, Mr.Lesaca met me at my house at the scheduled time. He was a very nice man and was helpful and professional throughout
the consult. I explained that I wanted to completely re-landscape my backyard and replace the existing wood fence with a block wall fence. I wasn't sure if his company could do the block wall fencing, but he assured me that they did and had done so many times. His website also listed services beyond just landscaping. After we spoke and I explained what I wanted, he measured the areas of my yard and fence. I advised him that my HOA needed the measurements and drawings of the plans for
approval prior to the work starting and gave him a copy of their review application. He said he would give me what I needed for the review committee. After he took his measurements and we discussed everything, he told me he would have drawings of what we discussed for my yard for me to review and an estimate ready by Monday (5 days later). He asked for my email address, which I provided, and said he would e-mail me the information.
I did not hear from Mr.Lesaca on that Monday. Since it was Mother's Day the Sunday before, I gave him the benefit of perhaps not realizing it was Mother's Day weekend when he told me I'd have my estimate on Monday. I waited til Wednesday (one week from initial consultation) and called Mr.Lesaca's cell phone. I left a voice message on his cell asking when I might expect his conceptual drawing and an estime. I requested he return my call. I did not hear from Mr.Lesaca. I called again the following week. I called his office phone this time and left another message asking for an update on the proposal and an a date when he thought he might have it ready for me to review. I again requested a return call. Tomorrow will be 3 weeks since I met with Mr.Lesaca for our initial consult. I have called twice in that time and have left 2 messages. I have not heard back from him or anyone else who might work for him.
I am disappointed this did not work out as I was truly excited about starting my backyard renovation and he seemed to be very knowledgeable in this field. However, I find it inexcusable for a business to NOT return a client's or even a potential client's phone calls. If he didn't want the job or couldn't do the job, all he had to do was say so. To not contact me or return my calls after our initial consultation is more than just rude. It's completely unprofessional. I hesitated to write this review because I prefer not to say anything negative about a person or business, but I guess this is the reason I joined Angie's list. I wanted truthful reviews so I guess I need to give them too.

Great job. Very happy. Javier and crew did a terrific job.

They let me know that I was over-watering it.

We called him and he came in and asked what we wanted done and had some suggestions about what he thought would look good. He did cement work, walk work and all new plants and it is gorgeous.
