We were very pleased with this company.  Our salesperson, Wilma Carte was very knowledgeable, courteous and efficient.  All of the workers were quite competent.  We would not hesitate to use this company again.

Very good and professional installers.

Owner was rude and unprofessional. Saleslady was wonderful, but not I would not recommend Josts. My experience with them was a nightmare. A little pricey too.

Over all the work is satisfactory. We are happy with the carpet selection. The installer was competent but he did not allot enough time for the job. He was hurried and his helpers (2) were not allowed to have lunch breaks. I think he could have done a better job.

These people were a pleasure to do business with. Roy worked around our schedule when coming out to measure and show samples. He did not try to sell me something I didn't want and answered all my questions with the knowledge that can only come from years of experience. Then there's Eric, the installer. What a great guy and meticulous craftsman. He was on time every day. His work was impeccable, and he cleaned up the entire work area every day before he left so that I couldn't even tell he'd been there. He even made friends with my dog and cat. I would recommend Jost to anyone who needs flooring.

Representative came out the same afternoon I placed the call. She was very professional and helpful. It was evident that she knew her profession very well and explained all of the requirements made of us prior to new installation. Sales price was included in the estimate and a 1/2 deposit was required prior to ordering carpet. The estimated date of delivery was given to us and she said they would call 24 hours before they came out to do installation. We received 2 calls prior to the date of installation and they came out exactly when we were told they would be here. Two workers came a hour prior to the time of the appointment to get started bright and early. These gentleman were nice and skilled in their jobs. We asked that one piece of furniture not be completely moved from the floor and they did as we asked and moved it around the old carpet and slid it onto the new carpet. We had our entire entertainment system which had many pieces and multiple wires hardwired into our wall and we did not wish to unplug everything for fear that we could not put things back where they would function properly. They did place a call to their office and they originally told us to move everything...but the workers did as we asked (thankfully) and worked around our monstronsity of a entertainment center. We understood liability but told the workers that we took full and complete responsibility for leaving everything plugged in. All went perfectly. The installation was very nice and they were fast and efficient in their work. We would gladly recommend Jost Carpet One in Bakersfield to anyone that needs new flooring.
