Shane has spent a lot of time working on my phone. He's spent probably close to 3 hours on it. I brought him my dead iPhone 5 that was no longer responding when plugged in. The first time he opened it up he replaced the battery and also the charging port because he said those sometimes go bad and it isn't necessarily the battery. It ended up not taking a charge. I took it back to him and he replaced the battery again. This time it worked but the charge wouldn't hold for even a day. He replaced that battery and that one didn't end up holding a charge at all. It died completely and wouldn't charge. He is going to put back in the old battery. He hasn't asked for any more money than I already gave him and hasn't complained when I call him with yet another problem. I agree with him that it's probably a bad phone. I'm just going to have to wait until I can upgrade in December and just keep charging it every 6 hours. Shane will not rip you off and will follow through if there's a problem with something he's fixed.
Apparently he no longer has a brick and mortar location but he'll meet you anywhere in Bakersfield.
