Inspire Salon & Spa

I have curly hair and had been wanting to get a Ouidad hair cut. Had been actually considering driving to Santa Monica where Ouidad actually has a flagship salon. I had been driving to a Deva salon in Arroyo Grande for over a year to a stylist who did a great job but still wanted to try Ouidad. Found Inspire Salon in Bakersfield on Ouidad's website. I was so excited! Well, that was about 2 years ago. They have about 5 stylists that do curly hair there. I see Brittany and she is fabulous. I love my hair. The personnel there are all professional and the place is beautiful.

It went well. The lady new exactly how to fix my hair. My new haircut looks great!

My stylist did an exceptional job with both customer service as well as giving me a great cut and beautiful hair color. The problem was when I called to reschedule another time for the same services, she would not call me back. I left multiple messages both with the front desk and on the cell phone number on her private cell phone. I even talked with the front desk about why she never returned my phone calls. I am known as a pleasant person, I have normal personal hygiene, my hair does not have weird problems and we had good contact as far as I knew with the usual chatting when she worked on me. Needless to say it would be awkward to use that salon again. I've never had this experience in all my decades here on earth like this with any hair salon, so goodness know what it was that caused her to not even return my phone calls. I tried maybe four or five times over a few weeks to get hold of her. The least she could have done was have the front desk tell me she would prefer not to provide services to me any more. It took time to get referrals to get my hair done with another salon and the whole experience dragged out the time it took for me to get that done. I really did need new color and I felt like I was looking a bit bedraggled because of this. It was off-putting to say the least.

I am new to the area and have been very pleased with the service provided by Erica. She listens to my hair concerns and also gives suggestions. I have recommended her to other family members who have also been pleased. The staff is also very pleasant.

I've been using this salon for a couple of years and love it here. I think the atmosphere is nice and the people are friendly for the most part...some more than others. The receptionists are very courteous and usually ask if you would like a drink or if they can get you anything else. The salon is clean, something you don't find everywhere here in Bakersfield. I see Kelly and she does a wonderful job and even more than that she is friendly and easy to talk to. I highly recommend this salon!

I love that place. Everybody is very sweet and beautiful in the salon. I have a hairdresser there that I go to. She is awesome! The people there offer you tea, coffee or water. Also, they got pastries. It is very boutique in there and I like it. It is very nice and very comfortable. Their service is very relaxing actually.

I like it. I would recommend them to others. They do massage and a lot of things. My overall experience with them was great. My nails look great and my hair too. Their price is probably average from other places that I had been. They are always ready, I never had to wait on one of them. They are pretty professional. I have been to some where they are not.

The services are great and I get everything done in one visit. The aesthetician is wonderful and everyone is always friendly and punctual.
