Service tech was on time. He fiddled around with all sorts of things that did not seem related to the repair, but I am not an expert, so I let him work. 
The technician replaced the control board, as he said he could not find the safety he said was open. That did not solve the issue. He spent over two and a half hours working on things and it never got fixed.
I give them an A, only because he did not charge me for anything.

I have used them in the past and the service is excellent! Ted is professional, knowledgeable, and takes the time to explain what he is doing and why. The cost was reasonable and fair. He replaced a thermostat that was causing my air conditioner not to work and gave me choices and costs to ensure I was educated. I will always call them before anyone else as I trust him.

Control card failed on unit after warranty period. Ted replaced card very quickly at a very fair price.

This was a rental, so they contacted the tenants, set up a date to go and do the service, contacted me, told me what needed to be done, and did the service. The only problem I had was, I had to contact them numerous times to send me a bill. I know it sounds ridiculous that I would want to complain about not getting a bill, but I like to get things off the books ASAP, so I can move on. It took two months to get a bill. Other than that, no problem.

.I got a few bids which were widely divergent for the same air conditioning unit. One was just a few dollars under Hawley's bid, one MUCh more.I chose Hawley air as they are a very small operation.Steve spent a lot of time with me, answering all my questions and giving the house a very good inspection including the attic and telling me about shortcomings in my current installation.My AC was over 40 years old so it needed replacement.Ted and Steve showed up on time, did the preliminary work quickly and the crane arrived and departed to lift the unit to the roof before I even knew they'd been there.They were done in two days and the new AC heated the house in seconds.I remain very satisfied with Ted and Steve's work and the priceI'd recommend them to anyone who wants quality work.
