Sent from Fidelity Home Warranty and Angie's list. Darin and son Dalton examine problem ordered part took several days...said around 9 days or so. I phoned Darin on July 6, he came July 7, explained the crack and needed to order part. July 15, I phoned him regarding part....as time lapse he said the part is the wrong one way to big...number on box matched, part didn't... later that day he was in my back yard i went out to see, said oh they told me it's universal it will work. He then began work. My piping is all black the parts where he cut were white...didn't appear professional...obvious patch work and with blue glue i suppose attaching it? The heater board was installed. Darin said to me see it works... yes i could feel the heat... i felt as if he was distracting me from the cutting and gluding of the other pieces of his work...Darrin appeared to me as if he didn't like one questioning his work? He said it works walking away..he also wouldn't accept my Fidelity service fee..i said i owe it. Darin said no u don't I said send me a bill I know I do, off he went. I phoned fidelity and yes i owe it. Later that day pool wasn't working stopped no pressure? I phoned Darin to explain only what i see. I am not a pool expert. Darin gave me the impression that he was annoyed suggesting a pool guy etc. Another day he sent Xavier I was not surprised that Darrin didn't want to come out again. When Xavier came I was going to show him the problem he said no i'll see, 8 mins later he knocks on my door said whats wrong i replied that's why i was going to show you, it's not running. He turned some valves explained, he gave me that impression as annoyed at that time. I wanted him to take my check for the service fee to his boss Darin and he would not. So I had to mail it...i had phoned fidelity to request an invoice with a detailed description of work, that was never given to me from Darin. At a later date that was emailed to me. Whenever I seen or spoke to Darin as he always worked me in his schedule, no set appt and when he did, he was not punctual. Problem has been corrected good heater board, tail piece :( however, his demeanor his character again appeared to me as if he doesn't want one to view his work while working and or question his work. When I asked questions and he would reply, however, if i asked again he appeared irritable. That is what my personal experience was with you/him. That is what i would rate very poor. I would think customers would appreciate a professional and friendly experience, when rendering services. That I did not experience with you.
Darin as you view this I did give u the benefit of doubt, maybe these days were just bad for you and it came across :(

This was via Home Warranty, so that actual cost of the item and or service is unknown. But they were easy to work with and professional.

He was awesome. He was professional, polite and clean. He took care of business. The spa heater that was in the box was no good and he took it upon himself to contact the company and get it replaced. He was really nice and his work was awesome. It was a good business transaction. I paid $2,000 for the work in the summer.

Grogan Mechanical was recommended by my Home Warranty Plan (Fidelity National Home Warranty). This coverage was provided to us when we bought our home in June of this year. Darrin Grogan was prompt and very professional. I called Fidelity on Friday to make a claim, Darrin called me within 2 hours and scheduled a service visit for the following Monday. He arrived within the agreed time, answered my questions and was extremely knowledgeable and helpful.
