Carpet Outlet Plus

I purchased carpeting and linoleum from Carpet Outlet in Bakersfield on July 11, 2019. Mistake #1: On the day my carpet was to be installed, Carpet Outlet arrived at my house without enough carpet. They were 8 feet short. Mistake #2: On the day my linoleum was to be installed, July 22, Carpet Outlet arrived without enough linoleum. Three men were scheduled to be at my house, and one of them was to repair damage to my floors before the linoleum was installed. That man did not show up, and, after a couple of hours, the other two handled the problem by simply leaving. They left my toilet in my bathtub, my refrigerator and stove on my (new) front porch, which they scuffed, and my washer and dryer on the back porch. They also left a twelve inch scratch on my office door. Carpet Outlet attempted to bill my credit card in full for a job half done, and acknowledges no wrongdoing on their part. Owner Mark's way of dealing with wronged customers is to subject them to verbal abuse, both on the phone and in emails. When I asked him to send me an invoice, he refused. Here is an example of Mark's email correspondence: "If that's not who I'm talking to the." Stay away from these people. They are friendly until they make a mistake. Then you become a "problem customer", and they abuse you mercilessly. They are a madhouse.

Simple process. Mark came or and performed our measurements . We went to the showroom and picked out our materials . Good communication through the steps . Thanks

Service representatives were extremely helpful and provided great suggestions. Also made sure the work was done within the next few days. Installers showed up bright and early, worked patiently around house cleaners. Finished quickly and cleaned up all materials. Looked great.

Everything was excellent. The owner even came back after everything was installed to put an extra coat on the laminate flooring.

I think it was due to the area we lived in , and I didn't like how the customer service lied to us telling us he was on his way when he wasn't. We ended up going with another company.

Jennifer Nobles at Carpet Outlet Plus knows her stuff. We brought home several samples before Jennifer guiding us to the Santa Monica Hickory. We love how this wood looks inside our home. They also installed tile in the entry and tile in the master bath.

Their installer, Noe Gandarilla did an excellent job, was very professional.
