We hired them over a year ago. Our trees had not been trimmed in 15 years. They gave us a great price and were very responsive. They arrived exactly when they said they would and performed the job as stated. We will definitely use them again.

The Owner did the evaluation 24 hours after request, scheduled 4 days later, very professional, efficient. Showed up on time, quick. Will hire them again as I am now scheduled for every 6 months services. Great Company.

First of all they were the only company that were on time for appointments and had positive and friendly attitude. The owner came to give me a quote and she also gave me tips and ideas for the rest of the garden. The work they did was amazing, and they got it done so fast. They were also the most adorable company. Thanks guys!

I can't think how it could have been better. They were prompt on estimate time. They started on time agreed upon. Were done almost an hour less than estimate. Out of the 4 estimates we got they were the best price. We paid the price of estimate no added charges. Our location is in SW Bakersfield

1 day job turned into 3. Crew kept dissapearing with no details provided. Very friendly but never apoligized for the inconvience and I believe the job is still unfinished.

I called Cal Tree Service for a quote, and Linda was at my home within the hour.  She quickly assessed my tree, which the roots had not only lifted my cement curbing but had also begun to crack my neighbor's driveway.  To make the matter worse, my main water line and sprinkler lines laid directly underneath the tree.  She supplied me with a lot of information such as why the roots were exposed (the tree had not been planted deeply enough), that the water main was 18 inches deep at the sidewalk but probably 12 inches deep at the house connection (so that they would only be able to take the remaining stump down to about 6 inches below the surface).  She carefully explained the process their company would do to remove my tree and the roots.  Ironically, the second bid that I got - he had been trained by Linda!  I contacted  Linda to schedule the removal after I had collected four quotes and had checked this company with both the BBB and the state contractor's board; they have an excellent record.  They were not only the lowest quote, but I felt the most comfortable with hiring this company.

The day of the tree removal a few men showed up to start the process.  By the time my tree was removed there were 8 men  taking care of the tree.  They worked quickly and efficiently as a team.  The tree was completely removed in less than three hours.  One of the workers knocked on my door and asked if I would like the wood chips scattered in my flower bed to help keep moisture on my plants during the drought.  When they left, my yard was beautiful - the clean up was remarkable.  I was relieved that there had been no sprinkler or water pipe breakage.  I would definitely hire this company again.  Thank you Linda, Manual and Sandra!

Estimate was done on time and was reasonable. Day of work the crew was on time and VERY fast. From arrival to drive off was right at 2 hours. Clean up was well done as well. To quote the owner , who was on the job, "We're like ants". In a good way

I expected the crew to arrived between 10am -11am but Manual knocked on my door at 7:30 am. The crew helped me move things out of the way, but I was concerned about falling branches clobbering my 8 tomato plants, full of tomatoes that I'd not had time to protect yet.  Manual assured me they'd be unharmed.  Some of the wire fencing got bent and some of the plants got bent over.  All did survive; but if you need to move or protect plants, you might want to get it done the night before.
Also take the initiative to communicate as often as needed. Sandra (I hope I remembered your name correctly) and Linda were very responsive when I called for an estimate on a day when I had a somewhat tight schedule and Manuel was have a very busy day and I wanted to get the estimate that day.

The work was difficult because of the tree's size, it didn't take as long as I thought it would. They cleaned up both my and my neighbors yard. Only concern, they did not arrive on time for estimate apt. or work apt. They didn't call to let us know we had to call the office both times. That was our only complaint. Plan on using them in the future.

He is licensed and insured.  It is very rare to have insurance with tree people in this town.  He is really good and affordable.  I know trees really well because forestry was my major in school.  He is amazing.
