They were great! They were on time with everything, did everything they were supposed to do, made suggestions but also did what we wanted them to do. They found deals for us as well. We love our kitchen.

We had used Blue River Cabinetry Kitchen and Bath once before. Everything was good except they just took a long time. They just finished and they started in December. The work is really well done.

They did a great job and we were real happy with it. They were highly recommended and they had a display that we really like and so we pretty much had the same thing done in our kitchen. My wife just like the combination of the countertops, the cabinets, and everything they had on display and it was time for us to update anyway, so we liked it and said we'd like to do the same thing. I think they did a really nice job. I suspect that they have been more expensive than some of the other people but it was not an issue with us because we really like what they did. They were great.

We purchased and older home that had been forclosed on twice, and knew it would need some extra work especially in the kitchen. We did not realize just how much work when we took it on regretfully. We tried several friends/contractors to work on the kitchen and everytime they came in they made promises they couldn't keep and then dissapeared. It was a nightmare kitchen. So we were very happy when we met with the ladies at Blue River for the first time. They made no promises other than to fairly assess the kitchen and give a detailed explination of what should be done and what will meet current code standards and then a**** our goals for the kitchen. And that is exactly what they did.
Once they came out measured and checked out the kitchen they let us know where the problems were as far as electrical and water placement and how the necessary changes could be done, with multiple options. After that their focus was on what we cook and how we cook, trying to understand how we and quot;useand quot; our kitchen and what kind of storage space we would need. Anytime I had an idea for something estetic Annette would break it down for me into terms of what could be done and what else it would effect and cost so I could make an informed decision. They also had tools and ways to balance what I wanted and liked with what my husband wanted and liked so that we would both be happy.
We were not an easy customer, in that we don't keep a traditional 8-5 work schedule and they adjusted their start times to meet our late morning needs. Which we greatly apprciated.
It was a very pleasant expirience knowing that someone knowledgable was available at all times during the process. Anytime a question popped up or a color scheme/deco idea came up they were their and ready to offer advice or opinions and often pictures of other jobs that showed new ideas for me to consider. We are done now and moving all the stuff back into the kitchen. And we are very happy with our finished product.

I was told by other people who remodeled to expect to add things, make changes and spend more than original plan. That is exactly what happened, but we are very please with outcome. It took longer than I expected, but with changes and additions it was to be expected.
If there is a long lead time on items to be ordered, I would suggest ordering items and confirm anticipated delievery dates before starting tear out of existing kitchen or bath. Once the kitchen sink and stove are gone it is makes a big impact on daily living.
Annette and Michele are great to work with and have wonderful ideas to help you get what will make you happy.

They are incredible. I had a problem with water heater and didn't know whom to contact and they did it cheaper and re-did all the pipes and above it built a base for it, all for way less than a plumber would charge and for the garage door, I got it for less than what I would have paid for. I got one installed with all these hi-tech features, when we walk into the garage, the lights come on and it goes on and on. They are quality throughout. We didn't like a few little things, they went back and changed them and didn't charge us a penny. There is not one tiny flaw in anything. They did a bunch of stuff in our house, they usually don't even do. I can't imagine it being more perfect than it is. I am overall just incredibly pleased with them.

Really very well. Construction is never going to be a picnic: no pain, no gain. I spoke with another contractor who declared a kitchen could be done in 3 weeks. Blue River gave an estimate of up to 2 months - guess who I found more credible? (And it didn't take that long) Annette gave many tips - we had our fridge the whole time. Best of all was her prompt and sensitive response to a couple design melt-downs: "We hate it! What do we do?!?" She always came right out and fixed it. Don't plan a kitchen with time pressure - from availability of materials to those Wait, Stop! moments, a little bit of extra time resulted in exactly what we wanted.
