I was installing a new 71/2 foot fence which required an engineering permit. The engineer that my contractor had did not follow through and we were in a jam. Clay was recommended to us and the plans were dropped in his lap literally three days before we supposed to get the permit. He got the plans on Wednesday and had them done on Friday overnight them to the contractor who got them (sad to say Monday afternoon) so he had to go to the City on Tuesday. My job was supposed to start on Wednesday. The engineer and the City was a complete well lets just say he had not been at my City for very long and was not knowledgeable of our codes or my particular situation. Needless to say that my plans were not approved. Clay worked on them with the engineer from the City most of the day while out of the office emailing back and forth and on the phone with me as well as the contractor.. Clay was out of the office on a personal day and was doing me huge a favor. By the end of the day the City engineer approved the plans with several modifications that were very costly. Clay was over the top and done with the whole situation he was so frustrated with the City engineer as we all were. I asked him if he could do me one favor and I emailed him over some information and asked if he could draw something up and email it to me as I was going to the City the next morning. I was totally amazed while I was at the counter with the contractor and as the contractor was drawing up a new bid and taking a huge loss Clay emailed over the drawings and I emailed them to the City engineer and the City engineer approved the original plans with one modification of depth which was only a 300.00 difference. Without Clay and his knowledge and expertise I would not have been able to get my fence. He was accurate, knowledgeable, and knew exactly what he was talking about. He is the best in his field and.
