ourI was very pleased with the service. They were very efficient at getting cars in and out of the testing equipment so the wait was fairly short. They offered online and yellow page coupons that were significantly below the competitions quoted price. They were very courteous and professional. I will definitely use there service again.

My truck would not start so I had it towed to Advanced Smog. I was given a very reasonable estimate for diagnostic work and was on my way in just a few minutes. The agent was friendly and fast. It was the middle of the day so I was warned that it might be a few hours before they could get to it because they already had other customers ahead of me. This was fine with me since I did not expect that they would even get started until the following day.
I had just barely made it home when Advanced Smog called to say that they had diagnosed the problem, a faulty relay, and that a replacement would cost $26 and they would apply the diagnostic charge as the labor cost. After I approved the work, I was told that the part would be ordered and that they would be finished in an hour or two depending on how long it took to get the part.
As I suspect it is with most people, car repairs and repair shops are a thing of dread. No so with Advanced Smog. I have used them several times in the past on both of my vehicles. Each time my expectations were exceeded!
The staff is pleasant and efficient. They carefully explain the process and give a very reasonable time estimate which always turns out to be much long than what it actually takes. I always get a phone call when the work is finished or they need approval. The work performed is very well documented. The work order is practically a troubleshooting guide! Oh, and if those were not enough reasons to take your business there, their prices are more than reasonable.
Once I made the mistake of taking my vehicle to a dealer for a check engine warning light. They could not fix the problem and gave up! I took it to Advanced Smog and they fixed the problem in about an hour: a dirty mass-flow sensor. Lost engine power that I just come to accept was restored; the truck was running like new!
Advanced Smog is awesome!
