Carmen, the general contractor, was extremely professional and trustworthy. He managed all aspects of the project including: 1. city permits and inspections 2. multiple sub-contractors 3. change orders (I had 5) 4. project timeline 5. payment schedule My project involved architecture and engineering, framing, plumbing, electrical, flooring, and painting. He hires great subs and manages their collective efforts. He does NOT cut corners and does everything by the book (in this field of work that's a good thing). We added a loft, closed one wall and opened up another. After it was all said and done, you can't tell there was a remodel at all. I have some future remodel projects planned and Carmen WILL be the GC I contact!
