"We were contacted on a Sunday and asked if we wanted to get the detailing done that day. We said yes and were told they would be right over. We had to call them after no one showed after 90 minutes. There was was a failure to communicate but it was cleared up and the technician finally arrived. The car now looks great. We would use them again and make sure they communicate with the technician better."

"They were very nice, prompt and did a good job. The price, however was much higher than we have ever paid to any other window cleaner. Our estimate was much lower than the final cost. They were here for 4 hours and the cost was $1157 for 134 windows, inside and outside, plus tracks and sills. They said it was a discounted price. Only thing. Would suggest s to get a recipe quote before proceeding."

"The installer showed up on time and started work right away.  The installer was polite and professional and understood his work very well.  After discussing the doors and window that should be linked to the alarm, he provided advice on where the key pad should be located.  The installer also set up and explained the system to me as well.
I docked quality, slightly, on account of the original placement of the pin pad.  The installer put it in a spot that prevented a door in my living room from fully opening.  I pointed this out to him, and the installer was kind enough to move it about 6 inches to fix the problem.  Moving left some extra drill holes in my living room wall, but that's fine as we're repainting soon.

"I had to install the system and call on line support for help. The instructions were vague. I had a lot of problems with installing the door and window sensors even with online help. The literature that was received also was not helpful. I need an instruction manual!"

"I needed to have the glass replaced in a sliding glass window. I called on Sunday and for a single pane, they quoted $600. I asked how much it would be on Monday, Alex said about 1/2 but they wouldn't be able to do it until the end of the week. I waited until Monday and called another company that quoted $159 to do it the same day. I understand charging more for Sunday service, but this was outrageous. Then, I felt like he was trying to pressure/scare me into going with the high price by saying they wouldn't be able to do it for days. They did call back promptly but, obviously, I chose to go with someone else."

"I hired him in December but it took until February for him to get here to put it in.  The cost actually came in under the estimated cost.  The installation went poorly.  I told him that we needed a 36" door, thinking that's what my initial contractor put in.  He was able to make the door opening larger, without having to change much.  After putting the door in it looked good, except he had used another casement.  I told him that I would replace it on my own.  I'm now going to have to take down the casement again and adjust the drywall.  The new door leaked the first time we had snow.  This leakage stained the casement, but I think I will still going to be able to use it still."

Window Tinting questions, answered by experts

No, it isn’t necessary to have energy-efficient windows. However, if you care about your energy bill and making your windows more energy efficient, fixing any heat, UV, or air transfer issues is an excellent way to lower your bills and keep your house cooler in the summer and warmer in the winter.

The most popular way to remove home window tint is by using a hairdryer. Most people already have one in their home, but if you don’t, you can buy one for as little as $15. All you need to do is turn the hairdryer to its hottest and highest setting and run it over the window tint for a few minutes. Then, you can easily peel it away. You may need some goo remover for any leftover adhesive, but this DIY could be free for many people.

The most popular treatment for a skylight is skylight shades. There are five primary types: manual, motorized, blackout, cellular//honeycomb, and Venetian. Motorized skylight shades are the most convenient, especially for skylights that are higher up, but manual shades are the most cost-effective treatments. Cellular/honeycomb shades are a perfect option for anyone who wants energy efficiency and an attractive look.

The most energy-efficient windows are double—or triple-pane windows with low-emissivity (Low-E) coatings and gas fills between the panes. These windows reduce heat transfer, prevent drafts, and help maintain a consistent indoor temperature. But if replacing windows isn’t in your budget, pairing your existing windows with insulating window treatments can still make a noticeable difference in home comfort and monthly bills.

Use a combination of blackout methods to truly black out your windows. If you want to eliminate all light from your room, try installing a very dark tinted film and then putting up blackout shades over the entire window. Reach out to a professional and request some custom-made shades for the best result.
