I requested a quote on Mar 25th via their Web Site. . In the Email request for quote I describe the general scope of the job to be estimated. I received a response email on Apr 2 setting up an appointment for the quote visit on Wed, Apr 10th within a 4 Hr. window. The home (and flat roof) is 6.5 years old with no evidence of leaking or significant damage. The estimator arrived within the scheduled window and was very professional. We discussed the job and the fact that I have a solar pool water heating system with10 circular water heating tube rings on the roof that would have to be raised to allow coating of the surface underneath. The original heating system installation was done to allow the system to be raised on blocks/stands so that recoating of the roof. I asked how they would handle the panels. The response was that the panels would have to be removed before they did their work. The estimate proposed 1 Coat of rolled on coating and provided for only a 2 year warranty. Based on the quoted services and the fact that I would have to pay someone else to remove and reinstall the solar heating tubes at a quoted price of ~$1000.00 (from the Solar Contractor) I decided to go with another provider. The experience with this contractor was overall good.

They were an absolute joy to work with. Mike Silva came out and did the estimate. He was so professional and friendly. He took his time with me explaining everything and letting me know exactly what they were going to do. His team showed up on time and got right to work. They worked very hard and paid attention to every detail. They even did an excellent job cleaning up after themselves. I am so pleased with the work everything turned out great. I have already recommended them to some of my friends.

Roofsavers is highly recommended. We had them out when we first bought the house in 2009 to repair a roof leak. We liked their work and prices and had them out again in late 2012 to repair a leaking skylight (different problem). At that time the estimator advised that we should re-coat the entire roof in the spring before the rainy season. He said it'd cost around $2500 and would last 4 to 5 years. I called them for a full re-coating quotation on 5th March 2013. The estimator came out a week later as promised on 13th March (this is their peak season). The quotation for my 4000 sqft roof was not $2500 but $1875 and they took off 5% as I am an Angie's List customer. Total for the job was $1780. They scheduled the work for 2 weeks away but rang me a few days later to say they could come out sooner. The 3 man crew came out promptly on 21st March and finished the entire job in one day. The (flat) roof looks fantastic - like new. Another great job by Roofsavers!!

From appraisal to completion, the people involved were professional, courteous, and fair. I received a call from the appraiser within 24 hours of his visit to give me the estimate, a work date. On the day of the work, the men arrived early in the morning as promised. I had arrived from CA late the night before and they apologized that there might be noise. I knew there would have to be and my bedroom was under one of the 'valleys' they were working on. They seemed exceptionally quiet as they worked. They put in a full day and cleaned up before they left; with the completion to be the next day. When I spoke with them, offering a beverage, they were polite, but declined, saying they had plenty of water. The next day they were at the house early again and completed the job. I was concerned about wood repair, but Freddy explained they were able to use wood they already had, so there would be no extra charge after all. Again, they were very polite, and explained what they had done, including bringing one of valley repairs further down so it would be stronger and last longer. I was appreciative of their whole attitude, professionalism, courtesy, etc. I have already recommended them to the neighbor across the street. I know exactly who to call now and don't feel so 'out-of town' as a homeowner. Thank you Freddy and Richard.

Their service is right on. They were out instantaneously. Their price is also fair. I had them out the year before to re-coat where the solar system was.

Installers arrived on time. Work performed satisfactorily. They had to make a quick trip to the local Home Depot and finished that day. The next day, they came back to re-mortar. Freddy mentioned the undersize tiles used by the builder, so now I understand why garage has been leaking, not only in this spot, but others as well. I was grateful for that information, so will need to keep vigilant.

They did a great job. Estimater was out in a day or two. One estimator even hammered down some wood stips that had come loose on the roof. Estiamtes emailed the next day. Appts set up promptly. Workers were never late, were courteous and cleaned up everything. I have some plywood that needs to be replaced on another section (which the workers pointed out to me). I am definitely calling them again.

They were super fast with getting the quote out, as well as getting a crew to repair the roof. However, their initial crew missed some re-securing barrel ends. I contacted them about the part of the job not completed, and they sent out a follow up crew almost immediately. I have used this company twice, and I will continue to use them as their prices and service are very competitive. With my recent experience I know that they will respond quickly if something is not quite up to your expectations.

They advertised what they could do. When I asked them, can you remove this old cooler from my house, they said they would have to look at it. When they came out and looked at it they said sure no problem. Now, they don't advertise, remove your old coolers, I had to ask, but that's a good thing. As far as bad, I also had up there a solar tube, kinda like a skylight. The cap had broken about a week before in one of our harder storms and I asked them if they could replace that and they didn't do that at all. I had go out and spend $300 of my own to buy a kit, when all I needed was the dome to put over it. I kinda thought that was a little, if you guys are roof repair, that this should encompass your scope of work. But I did it myself and when I got it done, they came out the very next day and painted my roof. Their professionalism was right on top. I couldn't ask for anything better. My wife stayed home that day and there were no problems. There were no lazy people, none of that kind of stuff. They guys were right on it, they knew their jobs.

They were great -- Repair guy was able to get out here to give an estimate within a few days or so after I called. All roofing companies seemed to be overwhelmed with calls due to recent rains. After the estimate, they said they'd be out here in a week to 10 days, but ended up coming to do the work only 3 days later -- I imagine because there had been a forecast (which turned out to be accurate) that it was going to rain the following day. They got the work done just in time before the rain!! Very happy with this service.

All went well.. A gentleman came and looked at the roof and gave an estimate and the work was done a ouple days later. I was not here, so they sent me a bill from the estimate.

I was very pleased with their response time, quality of their work, and cleanliness upon their departure.

Called for estimate which was quickly scheduled. Estimater showed up on time and quickly provided an estimate. Sheduled the work which was also done on time and to estimate. Work looked to bwe done competently and well.

This was not a positive experience. They cost was way out of line for the time spent actually doing the work.

Roofsavers gave a prompt estimate. They coordinated with the A/C company on the removal of the A/C unit so that the roof could be repaired. They repaired the roof quickly and efficiently and came back to make sure that everything was done well. Thanks.

While we were at home during only a portion of the time the work was being completed, it was evident that a thorough job was done. Throughout, we were kept informed of the progress of the job, and all interactions with employees were very professional and clearly communicated to us. At the completion of the job, the entire area was left very clean, without debris, and was very neat and tidy.

Service was quick, professional, and well done. Price was a bit high, but for quick service with a warranty I was fine with it.

I'm just a little confused by the with my experience with this company. I'm sure they meant to be helpful, clear and informative with their estimate process, but I came away from the meeting with more questions and unsure if there was even a goal that either of us parties had reached. I believe or understand that the company does not do extensive roofing repairs where they would be replacing wood. I think I'm supposed to be receiving information on contractors or companies capable to replace our roof. I'm sure the service person meant to be helpful ... In fact, he was on time, seemed very professional and even eager to provide all the information we needed. He even called before he arrived. However I have yet to receive the follow up and I feel like I am left with more questions than answers. I am sure of one thing ... I think they only do roofing re-coating. It would have been helpful to the estimator to know who the owners were & who exactly to speak with. It would have been helpful to have an organized way of providing his information with more than just verbal conversation. It is possible there was a breakdown in communication.

Ricardo came out to appraise the leak and general roofing issues on my mother's house. My husband met with the 3 appraisers that day, and was very impressed with Ricardo's professionalism and general construction knowledge. I received 2 bids (one company, not on Angie's list, never bothered to send me a bid or call me after the appraisal??) Roofsavers bid came back very fast (the same day, I think) and made the most sense as to what we really needed to have done and the price was, if not inexpensive, seemed reasonable for what we were gettting. I had been told they were about 3 weeks out to schedule the work, but when I called a couple of weeks later to accept the bid and schedule the work, it was scheduled within 2 weeks and fit very nicely into my time frame for being in town for the work. The workers arrived early the morning of July 2 and let me know right away that there was an issue that had popped up with a leaking coolant line. They were able to work around it to complete everything except the final aluminum coating. Luckily I was able to have the coolant line fixed the next day, and we scheduled Roofsavers to finish their job on Thurs. July 5.In the meantime we had a short but intense storm on the afternoon of July 4. A good test for our repaired roof. To my great joy, the area that had previously leaked like a sieve in the lightest of rain was bone dry! Yay!The workers came back the next day and finished the painting as promised.The only issue we had was a couple of small (6") holes that were put into our "newish" asphalt drive by one of their trucks. But the owner, Joe Locke, responded to my phone call right away and agreed to fix the problem immediately even though it was not really clear that it was the fault of the roofers at all. (ie more a problem of faulty - somewhat sticky - asphalt) I appreciate his addressing this problem and taking care of it so quickly.

I should preface this by saying that I have a flat roof, and Roofsavers has been maintaining my roof for 15 years. They have been very responsive to my requests for an evaluation of maintenance needs, and remind me annually to have my roof checked before the monsoons arrive. When there is an issue of immediate need, they are johnny-on-the-spot. These have been relatively small jobs, and they fit them in to the existing schedule as time permits, usually within days, and this, naturally, during the rainy season. On major work of re-coating they have been prompt, professional, and leave the property in excellent condition when they are finished. Joe has also told me he will let me know when the maintenance is not going to be sufficient, and it is time to replace my roof. His company provides maintenance, and does not do new roof installations. I believe that he provides excellent, honest service, and has the interest of the homeowner at heart in addition to his own business interests. This is a rare commodity of which I am very appreciative. I highly recommend Roofsavers.
