On Thursday July 10, 2013 at 12:16 pm I called ELECTRIC SOLUTIONS in an attempt to schedule some potential electrical work at my property. A woman answered the phone and I simply informed her that I needed an electrical outlet installed. I said "Hi, I am looking to get an outlet installed" She seemed a bit annoyed as she asked repeatedly, "What do you need?" Again, I informed her that "I would like an electrical outlet installed". She replied with some voice inflection that indicated she was irritated "Well, DO YOU HAVE ANY MORE INFORMATION FOR ME??"". Now normally I would respect a response like, "ok, great, what is your address and when are you available?" But her response, which again, was "DO YOU HAVE ANY MORE INFORMATION FOR ME" with a particular voice tone that indicated she was irritated...I found it a bit rude but I was willing to continue the conversation, again, I simply replied to her question "Of course, all you need to do is ask". To which she replied, again with a voice that represented irritation "I THINK YOU NEED TO CALL SOMEONE ELSE", and then proceeded to hang up the phone on me. Honestly I have never experienced a situation like this, where the potential individual providing a service is RUDE to the customer that seeks the service and actually makes a concerted effort to sabotage the company obtaining business for the customer. Now, objectively, to anyone reading this review - consider how absurd that is - Why would you want rude person like this answering your business phone? Apparently the philosophy of "The Customer is always right"; does not even come close to being practiced at ELECTRIC SOLUTIONS. Its unfortunate that William has employees(or family members or whoever) answering his business phone that are rude and don't care about his potential business income in these harsh economic times; this individual in particular was responsible for losing potentially thousands of dollars (based on the amount of work I need done aside from a simple outlet install) - The real question that needs to be asked is, does William even care about this? Who knows - I can only speak to my experience in dealing with ELECTRICAL SOLUTIONS. My best advice to William in order to maximize his business income and equally importantly, his business reputation would be to avoid having rude people that damage the reputation of his business and actually HELP his business to lose money; not be given the duty of answering his phone and scheduling potential electrical work. This account is 100% truthful and factual with regard to my customer experience. Ryan

I moved an electric dryer with a three prong plug to a house with a four prong socket. Over the phone I was told where to get the updated plug, how to install it and what to expect.

He was done in no time and it has worked perfectly ever since

Bill is absolutely fantastic. He really knows what he is doing and he is efficient, very well priced, and goes out of his way for his customers. I did this remodel without the aid of a general contractor and Bill really went above and beyond to help me and to explain the whole process. He helped me to make decisions, based on his expertise, and really helped us to save money and stay within our budget without sacrificing our electrical needs. Our lighting is even better than I could have imagined and I am so happy with the finished project. I had previously used Bill for an external outlet addition on our block house. He quoted me a price over the phone and then came out and did the project. He told me it ended up being easier than he originally expected and charged me less than his original quote. There are very few people out there who are as honest and efficient as Bill. I would highly recommend him to ANYONE needing electrical work.

We have been wanting to update the look our kitchen for quite some time without going through a major overhaul and the upheaval that goes with it. we decided to take it in steps and decided to start with upgrading the lighting. Bill jumped right in as we discussed the best approach and suggested that we should consider moving to new recessed Halogen lights in the overhead lights; the new lights made a tremendous difference in the appearance of the kitchen and with the pendant lights that Bill installed over the kitchen bar, the kitchen had a completely new and modern look. Upon completion of the kitchen lighting, Bill turned his attention to replacing the old ceiling fan in the family room, which involved two trips to Home Depot to exchange fans which were found to be faulty (after they were installed) and in spite of the delays and frustration, Bill remained calm and professional. Due to the delays caused by the time necessary to make trips to Home Depot to exchange fans, it was necessary for Bill return on the next day to complete installation of the fan and the electrical outlet in the entry hall. Bill was at the house the next morning promptly at 8 a.m. and had the fan and new outlet installed by 9 a,m. Bill was professional and courteous and took great care with everything he did, from protecting hardwood floors with heavy drop cloths to sweeping the tile floors after he finished working on both days he was here. We would definitely hire Bill and Electric Solutions again and we have no qualms about recommending him to others.

Bill arrived at the time scheduled. He was very professional in demenor and attitude. Bill arrived with the required items and equipment and after meeting our dog "Buddy", went right to work.As we have a house built in the 70's, what little I know about the wireing, it is problematic.Upon finishing the job, and cleaning up, we noticed the stove top would not work. After checking breakers, I called Billand he came out the next morning. Bill recognised his error, fixed the problem, and then came back a second time and changed out breakers to fully correct the problem. I offered to reimburse him for the extra trip, but he refused,saying it was his error, and his to fix.I/we will certainally use Bill again for our next electrical needs.

The next day we received a detailed proposal for additional work we want him to do for us. Very professional and friendly. Will most definitely use him again and recommend him to friends and family!

Bill knows his business and was prompt, efficient, courteous and fair. If you can find anyone with a better five star rating than that, hire him.

I tried calling this company twice and left a message the second time. I never received a call back. I just thought it was very poor business.

His price was much lower than other quotes we received and his work was great. We were very happy to have found him!

They were very reasonable. The quality was very good.

He confirmed that we no longer needed this box, which was leftover from when our house was a model home. Bill was able to come out the same day I called, which seems to be unusual these days, knew exactly what to do, and performed the removal for a good price. Next time I need an electrician, I'm calling Bill.

Arrived a lttle later than planned but finiished on time. Bill did very good work and cleaned up when he was finished. I'd recommend him and call him for add'l work at my house.

I had a coupon from angie's list, which saved me $10 and the service provider also gave me some hardware free of charge and some rocker switches. He was very prompt and professional.

Contacted Bill Nicols on Monday. Explained all that was needed done. Finishing up a kitchen remodel. Bill sounded nice enough, and made a date for 8:00 am the next day. At 7:55 that am Bill called said he forgot some one else and would get to me at about 10-10:30. I had several things going on and called Bill to confirm and he said definitely by 11. At 11:10 am I called Bill fin out where he was; he become agitated. Cursed and said he was working and I was bugging him. I decided not to do business with Bill.Good luck.

Good firm to deal with and have referred him to some friends

Bill Nichols is an excellent electrician -- first-rate, meticulous, it was a pleasure to have in my home. If you want a first-class guy who knows the electrical trade and does first-rate work, hire him!

He did a great job installing the lights and did a highly professional job.

He was prompt, understood the problem immediately. Explained the correction that was needed and remedied the problem without unnecessary delay. All through the process I was kept informed of what was happening and why. The entire corrective process took approximately a half hour.

Very happy with Bill. Nice man who obviously has a lot of experience. He came up with some creative solutions to a tricky problem and did everything in a professional manner. He cleans up when he's finished and makes sure everything is complete before moving to the next item on the task list. He was also very reasonable with his billing and didn't charge for time that we spent discussing issues. I would recommend him to you.
