Rainier Window & Gutter CleaningI called Rainier Window and Gutter Cleaning to get an estimate on roof cleaning. I accurately described the roofing material and square footage. When asked if the moss was light, moderate or heavy. MY estimate of the moss coverage was moderate. I expected somebody to stop by and look at the roof prior to an estimate due to it being a large tile roof but I was immediately given an estimate of $600.00 over the phone. I figured that was slightly expensive but acceptable and scheduled the cleaning. On the scheduled morning, the technician stopped by, looked at the roof and left. I received a call saying that the moss coverage was extremely heavy, the price would be $800 and the work could begin about a week later. I was not overly happy but quite busy and rescheduled. A week or so later two technicians stopped by, cleaned the roof in less than four hours…. I received a call stating the new price was now $850…. I sternly reminded them of the $800 bid and reluctantly paid their invoice. The attached photos were taken by and supplied to me by Rainier Window and Gutter…… You be the judge if the moss coverage was “moderate” or “heavy”….. The moss is gone, but I thought the roof looked quite blotchy. Maybe that is as good as it gets….. If you look at the gutters in the photos, they were not cleaned. Although I did not discuss gutter cleaning, I “assumed” they would clean the gutters after they were done…. And we all know what happens when we “assume”.- James J.

I got one of those deals on Angie’s List for roof maintenance. I got a response in less than 24 hrs. Jesus showed up on time. He assessed the problem and showed me pictures. It was pretty much what I expected: a leak around the solar panels. He checked the rest of the roof as well. Jesus fixed the problem area without any additional charges. He was very thorough and professional. I’d recommend him to any of my friends.

His name is Jonathan Smith. He bailed me out of a mess that another person created where my kitchen was flooding. I called him at 6 pm on a Friday and he was at my house by 6:30. He was here for 1 1/2 hours. He normally doesn't like to do faucets. His pricing was fair and reasonable. He knows what he can and can't do. The cost is what he says it will be. He will quote either an hourly rate or a job rate.He is very good. He is semi-retired and he is retired military.

They were the worst. When I called and spoke to them, I explained what I wanted done. They sent out two young guys to wash the windows and power wash the house. The job was done poorly and the crew they sent did not know what they were doing. I have no problem with the kids, but they had no idea what they were doing. I called the manager and complained. They sent them back, and they still did a poor job. I paid them because I felt bad for the kids they sent out. The manager never came out and checked out the work. I would never use them again.
