Great... Carlos came out and fixed and put tiles back where they were supposed to be. Quote provided for roof replacement was a bit higher than other companies which was unfortunate.

They did great work with a great price.

German Roofing was excellent. Its rating and BBB rating were first rate. Estimator came day after I called. Left quote. We got other quotes, but German's was tied for best price. I had questions re quote, all questions were answered completely and easily. Work was able to be performed w/in 4 business days-good as it's monsoon season and we had a roof leak. Prior notice was given of arrival & team members. They arrived on time, finished a bit early, cleaned up completely. Supervisor came next day to inspect-found something he wanted improved upon (not the roof itself, but some stucco near the roof's end) and that issue was fixed same day. It's rained a lot since then, no leaks! Even noticed that a bit of the foam roof needed some work and let us know that so we could call that firm.Very happy with this company, its policies, and performance.

The roof was leaking into my garage. An employee inspected the interior attic, the roof, and the garage ceiling. An estimate of the repairs needed and cost was provided.

Great service. Came when expected. Kept the work area very clean. Wonderful customer service from the office.

We called them after recent storm damage to our tile roof. They called us back promptly, same day. German Roofing came out the next day to evaluate the roof. They gave definite day they would begin and finish job. All work started/finished as promised. Great job matching tile type/color. Roof looks as though no damage occurred, at all. Would definitely use again.

The total job took six days (my roof is 5900 square feet). There were three workers who showed up promptly every morning and cleaned up before they left for the day. They were very respectful to me and my home.

Arrived on time, did the job, and left the area clean. They actually sent someone out later to QA the work. One small cosmetic glitch was immediately taken care of.

It was great. They did exactly what I paid for.

German Roofing sent a man out to estimate my job. They delivered a formal contract within 3 days. After I acccepted the contract, they scheduled the work. The first day of work the men came out and power-washed the roof while making a few minor repairs. The second day they came out and recoated the roof. After the first coat dried, they applied a second coat. I checked the roof myself, and their work appeared to be consistent and thorough. Two days later, a representative from the company came out and walked the roof himself. He approved their job, and I paid them. The workers themselves were neat and professional. All work was done on-time and within the specifications we agreed on. I would hire German Roofing for future projects.

In person estimate. Arrived as scheduled and completed the work and clean up very professionally. Reasonable cost.

Everything went well with no major issues. They worked with me on some special things I wanted done and they did them the way I wanted. Shingles were delivered a day late but I was not on a strict schedule so it was not a problem. Communication with the crew was lacking since my Spanish was worse than their English, but my emails for clarification were answered promptly by Dianna. Overall I am very happy with their work and the whole experience

Manuel and his coworker are amazing. They are both very hard workers very clean and very fast. I was amazed at how fast Manuel could move through nailing down shingles. Originally came out and gave me a quote to replace the back half of the roof. We got quotes for a full replacement too but honestly were not in a financial place to replace the whole thing. we bought a house that needed a lot of work (behind the scenes) newly renovated but under the hood. YIKES. so we went with just the back half. Some companies refused to do just the back half and insisted on the whole thing. Manual worked with me on the price and completed the job in 1.5 days. When we have to replace the front in the next couple years we will be giving our business to them. Diana in the office was also very easy to deal with and resounded to all emails in a timely manner. Great small family company. you definitely don't have to be the biggest to be the best. THANKS!

We were very impressed by the team from German Roofing. They were very responsive to our request for an initial estimate, which was a few thousand dollars cheaper than other quotes. They delivered samples of shingles to help us choose the best fit. Work started on time and lasted 4 1/2 days; the crew was very professional and cleaned up the yard and patio each evening before leaving. When the crew re-connected our satellite, we couldn't get a signal and had to call out DirecTV for an adjustment. German Roofing gave us a $50 credit to cover the cost of that service call, which was totally unexpected and we felt above and beyond what they needed to do. I would certainly recommend German Roofing to anyone seeking quality work for a fair price.

Things really could not have gone better!

First of all, he was late. He didn't apologize when he got there. He was actually quite rude, and acted like being there was an inconvenience for him. He went up to the roof with no tools, and came back down. I asked if he needed anything, and he ignored me! He came back down and showed me pictures, stating that I need to get an entire roof replacement, and that the necessary repairs would be well over $1000. Absolutely no work was done to "tune up" my roof. He left without giving me a receipt or any paperwork. I had two other estimates afterward, both of which stated a roof replacement was not necessary at all, and that the repairs would only be a few hundred dollars.

Not to well considering the cost. They set a few nails(12) maybe. Told me a cap was bad and I went on the roof to check and it was fine. They quoted a parapet wall sealing for another 350 and completely missed a dead valley problem that I found after doing my own check because they didn't appear to be doing much other walking on the roof. Just another angies list deal that worthless and we will never buy one again. Talk to people who live around your area, use Yelp and comm. web site. this make 3 time we use the deal buy and got bad results! BAD SERVICE EVERY TIME OR IN ONE CASE NOT AT ALL>........

Initial "deal" was $30 or $40, I don't remember exactly. Provider showed up, looked at the roof from the front of the house, identified the 6 tiles I wanted replaced and told me they would send me a quote. This took them about 5 minutes. Later that week I get a quote for $425 to replace the 6 tiles, or $1000 to "do it right". After negotiation they came down in price $25 to $400. On the day of service, they sent some contractors to replace the tiles. They completed service and left. I went outside to inspect the work and noticed they did not replace two of the tiles I requested to be replaced. I had to call the Provider and have them send out the contractors again for a second service.

It was fine. I was kind of hoping they would make a specific repair with regards to one part of the roof but I wasn't home when they came and my wife wasn't really clear on what needed to be done. Everything they did was as advertised. They were on time, professional, just went over and above.

I had to have a roof maintenance done in agreement with the sale of our home. I was satisfied with German Roofing being able to accommodate our needs on short notice and they did finish the job in time, however, the communication with this company requires improvement. I stated multiple times that I needed photographs of the repairs made to show proof to the buyers that the work was done. They did not take photos. When I contacted them and said that they had agreed to supply photos and did not, they responded with, "Yes we did, we just didn't send them." So I asked if they could please send them. I asked a few times with no response. They finally sent the photos, which were the photographs of 'before' pictures. Not what I had requested. We communicated via email and they were not apologetic or accommodating, but rather passed the blame to me. I ended up having to climb on a ladder myself to attempt to take the photos. I understand that I was asking them to do something that they don't normally do- although I don't think it was an unreasonable request to ask them to provide proof that the job was completed. But their attitude toward accommodating the customer was disappointing to say the least. I would not recommend.

Their price was semi-competitive and I decided to go with them for scheduling reasons. They were able to get to me before the 5 other roofers I had come look at the work. I didn't get the impression that they were trying to up-sell me like many of the other roofing contractors I have found on Angie's List. We were scheduled to begin work on the 18th. I had confirmed the start of the work in writing and via e-mail. Their office staff's professionalism is not consistent with what you would expect from a prudent contractor. It would appear that they have not been properly trained in how to address customers and professional decorum. It was also very difficult to get a hold of anyone there, either by phone or e-mail, especially any field level supervisor. The crews failed to arrive on the 18th. My wife stayed home all day so she could be there to meet with the crews. I spoke with Manuel, the owner of the company, and he informed that work was scheduled for the 18th. I asked him then how come his crews hadn't arrive by 4 PM that day, he said it wasn't his responsibility to know where his crews are located at. I have worked in construction as an engineer and field supervisor for over 10 years and it am shocked to hear this excuse. Crews finally did arrive the next day to complete the work on the 19th and 20th. The workmanship appears to be ok but only time will tell. I would not recommend them to any family or friends in the Valley.

This was a big deal purchase. They did something and sent me a report, but they never talked to me about the report that they sent so it wasn't my favorite. They were not great. They sent me a message thanking me and telling me they forwarded my request to their scheduler. I called them three times and they sent me a proposal to do work about 3 weeks later containing estimates I requested. I don't really know what they did on the roof. They were supposed to keep the yard clean, but they didn't because they threw everything in the yard. They suggested a roof replacement in one quote. I thought I was supposed to get before and after pictures, but I didn't.

What I like best about German Roofing is that they actually go onto the roof and walk around when doing their inspection. I have had other companies, as well as inspectiors (when buying/selling a home), that just do an eyeball analysis from the ground. They were able to catch several broken tiles, as well as some air vents, that needed repair. This is before I have any leaks detected in the home (a proactive, cost efficient move on my part). My only concern is that the estimates seemed a bit pricey, and there were some problems communicating with the workers during the repairs. I voiced my concerns to the company, and they were very professional in resolving my concerns with a follow up inspection. I wasn't expecting they would do this, so they really deserve some credit for this. As far as comparison shopping on the estimates for repairs, see above. Another company I contacted just looked at the roof from the ground and said everything was fine.
