Scott inspected our new home in November giving it very minimal concerns. Even went as far as saying it was pristine on several occasions. While he pointed out several trivial items, he missed some huge items. If Scott has identified any of these items we would have made a different decision. Right after we moved in the heat and AC did not work in part of the home, the roof started leaking, and my kids fell very ill. Their doctor did blood work and identified heightened mold. After I came home from the doctor I found the problem areas pretty easily within minutes in both their bedrooms behind the dry wall that was buckling from the raised planters. When a remediation company came we found black mold was infested in both their bedrooms and in another room we use as an office. We had to completely gut the office, spent thousands upon thousands to seal the problem areas and rip out the dry walls in the kids rooms. He mentioned the planters were not code in his report but neglected to complete the job, but gave the inside walls a passed inspection review. After spending thousands on the remediation not to mention our whole family falling ill from this, we reached out for remediation efforts. Instead of sympathy, compassion, or a desire to help solve and understand he pointed a lot of fingers. Apparently when trying to solve the serious health issue with our family and remediation significant damage our top priority should have been informing him within 3 days of any concerns.After the first unpleasant experience trying to remediate with Scott, we had 3 separate bathroom plumbing incidents (also lead to subsequent mold). I informed him within 3 days to make sure we complied with the unreasonable timelines he proceeded to contact every contractor involved (without us being on the call) to try to find a way to weasel his way out of any responsibility. They all let us know exactly how the conversation went and stressed this was preexisting. However, Scott decided to declare the case was closed with no further action.For such a significant purchase with your family well-being on the line I would recommend looking elsewhere. Awful, awful service and even less professional accountability. We have filed claims with all appropriate agencies to try to make sure this will not happen to another family.

We built a new home in Arizona while we are still living in Illinois. Scott did two inspections for us - one pre-drywall and another right before our final walk-through. Extremely thorough and detailed in his findings. Would definitely hire him again if we ever needed his services.

Scott was extremely knowledgeable and possesses an eagle eye looking for issues that may be important. We're inspecting a brand new build prior to closing and wanted a comprehensive list of punch list items prior to our final walk-thru with the builder. Scott's report was extremely thorough and will be our comprehensive cheat-sheet during our final walk-thru. Scott saw many things that we may not have noticed, mostly cosmetic. Scott even uses a drone for a thorough inspection of the roof. The drone photos are outstanding. Despite being a brand new home, Scott's inspection will provide that little bit extra piece of mind going into our new home. It is well worth the investment! Thanks, Scott!
