"I originally had Duraplex give me an estimate on my basement repairs. He referred to me another company called Moisture Control to do the job. Moisture Control ended up walking out on the job and Duraplex came back to finish the job for me. The guy from Duraplex ended up finishing most of the remodeling job without charging me. I would give him a better rating if he wouldn't have been constantly telling me that he was doing me the favor of finishing the job to cover his business."

"Mr. Cherry was very helpful and he made sure that what he was doing for us would actually fix the problem. He also have us options for future repairs rather than just just keep doing temporary repairs. Highly recommend!!"

"Well, they were late.  Didn't bring a ladder,  but I have an extra that another contractor left here, so I had one they could use.  Cleaned the gutters, which required removing the  gutter covers/ leaf preventers (hah!) and then re-installing them.

Unfortunately, about 3 weeks later we had some pretty strong winds and 3 of the gutter covers blew off.  I hadn't gotten around to re-installing them when they came to install the Christmas lights, so they put them back on for me.

Also, they didn't turn the water off when they were through.  A couple weeks later the POA came by to tell me I had a water leak; well , no, the fools had left the water running.  My water bill was triple that month.  Sheesh.

So, yeah, I wouldn't have made the same mistakes if I'd done it myself, but I really don't want to be on the roof where it's a two-story drop and there's no one here to watch.  So I'll probably use these folks again, but I also know to check EVERYTHING before they leave."

Storm Drain Installation questions, answered by experts

Professionals ensure energy efficiency, enhanced security, and compliance with ADA and fire safety regulations.

If you know the damage a hurricane can cause, you know how essential it is to protect your home. Getting ready for hurricane season can go beyond roofing reinforcement and extend to other external entry points where water and wind could damage your home. You may want to install hurricane window film to protect windows and glass doors or invest in storm windows. Storm windows cost an average of $12,000 and offer impact-resistant window surfaces with a better chance of fending off high winds.

Some storm doors might need two closers, depending on the weather conditions in the area. For example, if it’s particularly windy where you live, installing two storm door closers (instead of one) can prevent your door from slamming shut when it’s propped open. You can place one at the top of your door and another at the bottom.

Yes, professional installers use weather-resistant materials to protect the dish and cabling from environmental damage.

A storm door should be the same size as the front door. Both doors will fit into the same opening on the exterior of the home, so you can expect the storm door to be the same size as the front door. Most doors will be about 32 or 36 inches wide and 75 or 81 inches tall, although you can customize your door sizes.
