Seven Valleys Custom Trim Is an all encompassing interior trim company. We have 3 employees with 2 crews available. We contract and sub-contract our jobs. We are licensed and insured.

"Good! They worked quickly and were very efficient in their work. They were very patient with me and created the mantle trim exactly the way I envisioned. Very nice, didn’t leave a mess anywhere, and I would recommend their service."

Furniture Refinishing questions, answered by experts

If your wood furniture is sticky after already cleaning it, it’s likely from using too many polishes or waxes. You’ll need to remove some of the excess wax with a cloth and warm water mixed with dish soap. You can then reapply the wax or polish afterwards, but try to use a much smaller amount and wipe away any excess.

Wood stains last anywhere from two to five years, depending on exposure to the elements, your local climate, the type of stain, and the surface it’s on. For instance, vertical surfaces last longer than horizontal surfaces. Some types of woods, like dense hardwoods, will require a recoat yearly, as they are too dense for the stain to absorb. In any event, apply a recoat every 2 to 4 years. As for storage, a can of unopened stain can last up to 5 years, though results may vary.

Strat decluttering for the holidays by removing trash and organizing items into different piles that you’ll keep, donate and toss out. Whatever you intend to keep, find a specific place for it, and if you buy something, get rid of an item that’s taking up space. Start small, go room-by-room, and don’t try to declutter all at once—doing so can get overwhelming.

Yes, many custom builders offer finishing and upholstery options tailored to your style.

If you have decided that hiring a professional to refinish your floors will be faster and more satisfactory, you can expect to pay between $1,000 and $2,500. To get a better idea of what your hardwood refinishing project will cost with a professional, multiply the project’s square footage by the average price of $4 per square foot.
