"Mr. Ferrell first connected his computer to my computer via internet and worked for quite a few hours trying to determine what exactly was wrong. The next day he continued working from his computer for several hours. He determined he would have to have my desktop tower to complete the repair. He and my son met in Huntsville to exchange the tower. He then cleaned up a lot of what was wrong and reloaded Windows 10. He deleted the D: drive which had way too much memory allotted to it. The tower was returned and I plugged it all back together and it is working better than it did when I first purchased it. I would use him again and I recommend him highly to anyone needing computer updating and/or repair. His work is warrantied and he is very personable, knowledgeable, and helpful."

"James Anderson (Your ProBuilder) elected to separate the excavation and concrete work into phase I of the project and let us contract separately with one of several service venders which he researched for us.  We chose Rob Stevens who did an absolutely fantastic job.  The excavation was a lttle scary since there was a verbal "rock clause", meaning that if they hit solid rock, the estimate would have to be amended.  It turned out they did hit some solid rock but only at the very end of the digging and they were able to drill/sledge it out without additional cost.  We are happy with the concrete work.

The garage construction onto the prepared slab was done through Your ProBuilder.  Mr. Anderson diligently kept in contact with all of the sub-contractors and reviewed their work.  There were a couple of instances where he had to call them back to fix a problem either he or I noticed.  During the construction I was out of town for long periods and he was very helpful by discussing everything with me by phone or email and sent photos to show me what the progress was at various stages.  The project was completed within the time period we had requested even though it extended through the July 4th holiday period.  My wife and I came to depend on him for both technical and asthetic questions and he always gave us an honest opnion.  The garage is complete (on the outside; I still have work to do) and we are very happy with it.  Most folks would not guess that it is a recent addition as it blends in perfectly with the existing house.

We selected Mr. Anderson to do the work partly because of the good reviews and partly because of our initial impression of him during our first visit.  We also wanted to contract with someone who provided a firm bid for the work so we would not have to worry about possible cost over runs.  The final charges other than for changes we requested during the project, was exactly as quoted.  I believe Mr. Anderson to be an honest, genuinely friendly man who takes great pride in a job well done.  We would certainly be happy to work with him on future projects.

Window Screen Repair questions, answered by experts

Yes, if you have ventilated skylights, you can install insect screens on them. Insect screens for skylights cost $10 to $50 each, depending on their size and quality. Most pros highly recommend insect screens for ventilated skylights because they keep pests outside of your home while allowing fresh air inside.

The average cost to screen-in your patio ranges from $2,000 to $4,000. How much you spend depends on the size of your patio, the materials used, and construction complexity. Some patio screen room kits are easy to DIY, but you may need to hire a local screened-in porch builder and obtain permits for more complex designs.

Whether you should repair or replace a screen door depends on the type and extent of the damage. It is easy and economical to repair a small tear in the mesh using a widely available DIY patch kit. However, if there are large tears, multiple damaged spots, or if the screen is made of a specialized material, replacing the entire screen mesh might be a better long-term investment for a tidier appearance. You should also consider the condition of the frame; if the frame itself is damaged, it's likely time to replace the entire door. Other factors to weigh include whether you want a new style or need a more durable door.

Options include fiberglass, aluminum, and pet-resistant screens to suit different needs.

To ensure the longevity and smooth functioning of new windows, regular maintenance is essential. This includes cleaning the glass and frames, inspecting seals for leaks or damage, and reapplying caulking as needed. It is also important to lubricate all moving parts and operating mechanisms to ensure they continue to operate smoothly.
