We have used Accent Blinds for 10 years. They have put in new blinds for all of our office spaces. They are a great company to work with. Each time they come out they are friendly and responsive. I appreciate their extensive knowledge.

Alternique

The class was fun and informal, which was what our group was looking for. I was able to make a piece of jewelry for a very reasonable price. Alternique is a decor and hobby supply store. They sell a lot of reclaimed pieces that can be used to make artwork or crafts. They do crafting or jewelry-making parties for birthdays and other gatherings. In our case, it was a girls night/monthly happy hour/dinner group. They set up the party with the instructor and provided a room for us. We brought in our own food and drink. I would definitely recommend it for a girls night gathering or a woman's/girl's birthday party

Excellently. Andrea charges for her time, and passes on her designer discounts on anything purchased. That way you are never pressured to buy anything since she doesn't make any commission. She is also a wonderful, friendly, professional.

They picked out colors and then they purchased the furniture and also talked about connecting us with a company that did fabrics. They gave us advice on how to make our rooms look nicer. They were good about talking with us about the different furniture types and what goes with the style of our house and what we liked. The conversation was good and the ability to decide which direction to go was appreciated. I will use him again in the future

Nature's Custom Woodwork
5.0
I have found "Nature's Custom Woodworking" through Craigslist while looking for a contractor for kitchen remodeling and some trim work around house. This review is my token of appreciation for work done perfectly! It felt that I'd found the right contractor after the first few minutes of discussing the project with Matthias. He was very professional, precise, and would explain all changes in details. The price of the bid was reasonable, too. Our house was built in 1950s, and we wanted to improve and remodel the kitchen, but without dramatic change the to overall house style. Also, we spend most of our time at home (self -employment, little kids). Our contractor handled these issues well, helping us make design decisions, and optimizing work time to the shortest stretch. In comparison with some other home improvement project we had to live through, this one was just a breeze! We had two small issues during the remodeling and they were resolved immediately. I am so happy with my new kitchen now! It is better designed and has actually, more storage space than before, and at the same time - meets the overall style of the house. I would highly recommend "Nature's Custom Woodworking! By the way, they also do decks, paneling and siding

Parson's Blind Co
5.0
I had been shopping around, so I new the look I wanted. They patiently hunted down the exact color and look I had requested. They gave us the best price in town nearly half of the next lowest, and they were installed perfectly and in only 1 day. I love my blinds! I recommend Parson's Blind Co. to everyone. A very pleasant experience, and a job well done

Very disappointed in my dealings with this company. She came out to the house quickly and things seemed to go well. Told me that I would receive a proposal on Monday, came to house on Thursday. After 1 week I sent her a second email address since I had been having problems and wanted to make sure she could get in touch with me. Never received a reply. Nine days later still no reply so I sent her another email asking her if she had decided to not work with me. She sent me a text message the next day saying that she was having an email issue and would resend the proposal the next day, I never received it. Four day later I sent her a text message and no reply. That was five days ago with nothing from her, I give up. She was very nice when she came to the house and I was looking forward to working with her. Hopefully this is not how she conducts business with everyone. It is not hard to send a reply text message stating that she doesn't have time or just doesn't want to work with me. I would have understood and not been left with such a bad impression of her business

When I first spoke with Beverly Odom about possibly helping us with a kitchen remodel, I asked about her working process. She said she would do a consultation, get some ideas, consult again, and then draw formal plans, which we could then view and purchase from her. After the consultation she said that it would take her a couple weeks to think about things and get back to us. This alone surprised us, but then we were shocked to wait the two weeks and only receive an invoice for all the work she had not done yet. We questioned this and she said we needed to pay her in full before she would share any of her ideas with us. I told her we were expecting to do another brief consultation to see if we were on the same page and wanted to proceed with the formal plans, but she insisted that we pay her up front and that we would be obligated to pay her for her ideas, whether we liked them or not. This was a big surprise and had not been clearly explained beforehand. She insisted this is standard practice, but I have worked very successfully with many contractors and professionals of all sorts and have never come across this. Everyone else has given us a free consultation and estimate, and definitely did not require full payment before starting work, much less before even telling us what that work might be. She ended up recommending that we work with a different designer and we agreed that would be best. Then we received another invoice for just the consultation, which included the line, "Your satisfaction is guaranteed". We were not satisfied; felt we'd received nothing of value, and that she had only wasted our time by making us wait two weeks for a form letter invoice she easily could have given us when we first met. I expressed this, but she said we had to pay her for her time whether we got anything of value or not. Our satisfaction was only guaranteed if she actually did any work for us, and since she hadn't done anything yet, our satisfaction was not her concern. She then said that if we didn't pay within 30 days, she would add a $30 late fee and continue to do so every 30 days after that. She finished by saying that she was busy, had nothing more to say to me, and then hung up. It is unfortunate that things did not work out and maybe we didn't ask exactly the right questions about her process up front, but we did try. We’ve never worked with an interior designer before and maybe their standards are different from everyone we’ve worked with previously. Even if that is the case, though, I believe that as the professional, it was her responsibility to fully explain herself, her work, her process, and her billing practices to us. She should not just assume that everyone uses the same "standard" that she does. We are very unsatisfied, feel completely undervalued as customers, and definitely would not recommend her to others

I believe everyone works hard, wants value for their money, and wants to come home to a peaceful and beautiful environment. My job is to define what that means for each and every client. "I placed an order for 3 tops down bottoms up cordless pleated blackout shades, to replace similar light filtering shades from another company. The shades were reasonably priced, arrived on time and fit correctly. However I'm unimpressed with their overall quality. Three things bother me about the blinds:
1) they are extremely noisy when being raised or lowered
2) they need to be adjusted for level every time they are raised or lowered
3) inside the upper housing, there is a string that appears to move as the blinds are raised or lowered. Since the string rubs against parts in the housing, it is likely it will eventually break.
I don't think I'd buy these again.
Our company was founded by David Berger over thirty years ago and David has been selling table pads direct to the public for over forty years. We know our table pads and we know how to design the perfect fit the very first time.
"Pads are well built, have magnets inbuilt at seams to hold together. They fit exactly right and are good looking. They came earlier than expected and I used them by Thanksgiving and have used them to protect my table at parties ever since. No problems."
Hey, I'm Lance! I became a professional online portrait artist in 2006 after my family was taken from me in a tornado losing my mother, father, brother, and son. Twenty-eight lives were taken as well as all their possessions, like mine. I drew from destroyed photos their families so they could have memorial portraits of them at the funerals and for the rest of time. Since then I have made a living traveling the country doing shows and drawing from photos you email me on line. There is NO GIFT..
"He drew it and took pics of himself doing it otherwise we wouldn't believe even drew it. It looks like a photograph. We've never seen anything like it. He's amazing. He has also hand drawn pictures of my wedding and of my grand father for his funeral service."

"Taylor kept in contact and gave me updates on when we were next. This spring has played havoc with the weather and we adjusted the schedule a few times. When he said they would be here, they showed up and did the job in the two days specified. The driveway looks great and they did a great job.
