"I highly recommend his services. I frankly was not aware this 9 year old buckled carpet could be made to look like freshly laid carpet again. I thought it would need to be replaced and we are thrilled. This gentleman is polite, works quickly and delivers more than he promises. I am a highly satisfied customer who is pleased to recommend him."

"He showed up on time just as scheduled he was very polite and informative as well as his son who works with him. Once the work was done they cleaned everything up and also showed me before and after pictures of the vents. We could definitely tell a difference once they finished. "I had my carpets professionally cleaned and the results were honestly better than I expected. I had several high-traffic areas and a few old stains I assumed weren’t coming out, but he was able to remove them and completely refresh the carpet. He showed up on time, explained what he was doing, and worked efficiently without cutting corners. The floors looked noticeably brighter and smelled clean without any strong chemical odor. You can tell he takes his work seriously and cares about doing it right. I would absolutely recommend his carpet cleaning service and will be using him again."

Carpet Installation FAQs, answered by experts

There are a couple of color options to consider when installing carpet in high-traffic areas (like entrances and stairways). Medium-toned colors and patterned carpets can work well in these parts of your home because dirt and stains can blend in easily. Dark carpets will also conceal marks and spills, but they show lint and other light-colored debris. Consider a medium brown or tan for your high-traffic areas. Either way, it’s best to avoid paler shades, like white and cream, which get dirty easily.

Yes, nylon carpets are suitable for homes with allergies due to their hypoallergenic properties. Nylon fibers are resistant to mold and mildew growth, minimizing allergen accumulation in the carpet. Additionally, nylon carpets are often treated to repel moisture and stains, further reducing the risk of allergens and promoting a healthier indoor environment for allergy sufferers.

If you have a dark carpet and are going for a lighter look, you should replace it, rather than dyeing, since you can only go darker with dye. If your stains are too heavy to mask with carpet dye or the carpet is more than 10 years old, you should also consider replacing it.

It’s a good idea to install a rug pad under the carpet for your stairs. To make the pad fit, you’ll need to cut one section for each stair tread that’s about one inch narrower than the stair runner so that it won’t be visible once the carpet is installed on top.

If you’re using a carpet runner instead of a traditional carpet, pay attention to your width measurements. Instead of measuring the total width of your staircase with 2 added inches for foldover, simply measure the width you’d like the runner to cover. Runners generally come in standard sizes, so you may need to approximate what would look best in your space.
