"We noticed mold in our house and searched on Angi to find a solution. Mold Doctors Pros, LLC is the company we chose. The owner inspected our home and provided us with a quote to clean it up. We signed a contract for the service. Their truck came and we left the house. 45 minutes later, they demanded $750 more or they would have to replace our insulation for an additional $ 1,800-3,000. If we refused, then the contract stipulated that we had to pay $3000 for the team to stop in the middle of the service. We accepted the demand for the additional $750 with the waiver of the estimation fee. We knew we were being scamed at that point because there is a free estimation cost to the inspection. It is stated on the front of his business card. After the service was finished, we call and asked for a refund of the extra amount. The owner agreed if we signed a complicated "Hold Harmless" agreement. We refused, and that was it. The mold is still present in our house, so we doubt his team did anything, or if they did, then they did a poor job."

"If you need someone to side with you so that you are not liable for your tenants health concerns these are your people! Harmon (Stan) Blanchard will gladly avoid any legitimate mold concerns, and to top it off he will maintain a cocky presentation the entire time. He got a call from a client and yelled at them because they called his cell phone and not his office, then proceeded to tell us how some of his clients are crazy. I pointed out visible mold on air vents, and clear mold rings around junction box covers but he was not willing to even look at it never mind taking any samples he just kept saying "I have seen this before it's nothing to be concerned about" which was very odd. I showed him these photos and recommended he took a sample from behind the cover but he was only interested in taking a photo of my computer screen from across the room...I offered to send him the photos but he would rather just take photos of my computer screen. The only swab he even took was of the very corner of my dresser top which I clearly stated I had recently cleaned and his response was "well it looks like you clean everything so that's the problem" how about you take a sample of the mold itself and not a freshly cleaned surface seeing how I did not clean the mold? Red flags everywhere with this guy, he even took his one and only single air sample from the opposite corner of the room as the clearly visible mold problem. I pointed out my dehumidifier can not keep the relative humidity below 55% and it runs 24/7 but his excuse was it was not accurate and so he proved it by taking a humidity reading of the air OUTPUT from the unit, what does that even prove?! I showed him clearly painted over mold on my door frame and he totally played it off! I want to know how much my landlord paid him under the table, because this clown is ridiculous. He should be ashamed of playing with another humans health like this. DO NOT - I REPEAT, DO NOT HIRE THIS GUY!"
