We have been in business for over 14 years and pride ourselves on prompt quality services to our customers.

"Submitted request via home advisor/Angie’s list on Monday 9/17/18. Got call from Gulley on 9/18/18. Set up septic pumping for 9/19/18. Called around 10:51am for estimated arrival time. Never heard back. Called again couple hours later was told they couldn’t reach the driver. Received call back 45 min later that the driver would be out about 6:30 PM. Was on my property all day long. 7 pm nobody has shown to pump my septic. Called company at 7:02 pm. No answer. Called again at 7:27 pm, spoke to same woman as earlier in the day. Still couldn’t reach driver. As of 7:41pm still nothing from anyone. I’m not sure how they run their business, but if I need a service and I have waited all day for said service someone should be kissing my butt and apologizing and working really hard to make it right! This is crazy, if y’all couldn’t do the job or don’t want the business just tell people! Who knows if I will ever get the job done at this point. Unreal great customer service. Will not change this review until the issue is made right by the owner!"

Sewer Cleaning questions, answered by experts

A sewage smell in your crawl space is usually from a damaged or clogged pipe leaking sewer gasses or actual sewage underneath your home, but there are some other common causes. Moisture, from poor or damaged encapsulation or a malfunctioning sump pump, can harbor mold and bacteria, causing a musty smell. Pests can also get stuck in your crawl space and die, which causes a sewage-like odor.

The best practice is to clean the sewer drain lines in your home once a year or every two years. Older homes could require more frequent maintenance. Keeping up on cleaning your sewer lines can prevent severe clogs, help ensure your system is working properly, and prevent expensive repairs.

You should not attempt to snake your sewer yourself. Accessing and snaking your sewer requires heavy-duty equipment, and while renting is possible, misusing it can damage your sewer main and leave you with very expensive repair costs, not to mention potential environmental issues and severe water damage. Accessing your sewer also exposes you to hazardous sewer gasses, and failing to seal the sewer properly after work can be very dangerous. It’s always best to hire a professional sewer cleaner near you to handle this type of work.

Your sewer line can get grimy quickly. To prevent sludge buildup in your sewer line, pour a mixture of 1/3 cup of vinegar and 1/3 cup of baking soda down each drain in your home once a month. After about 30 minutes, flush the drain with hot water.

Some plumbers recommend 3/4 cup of bleach instead to clean any germs and bacteria that may build up in your sewer line. But this won’t break down any active clogs, and it cannot be combined with vinegar, as the mixture will create a toxic, hazardous gas.

The best practice is to hydro jet your sewer line once per year. However, there are several factors that can affect this recommendation, including the age and condition of your pipes, how often your sewer line is used, and the type of waste disposed of in the system. When in doubt, ask a licensed plumber for their recommendation for your plumbing system.
