  I called Dish Network after a disappointing experience with another cable provider. I ordered service and scheduled my installation appointment over the internet. It was easy and the online interactive help feature was very useful. One night before the scheduled appointment, the local installation company called to say they needed to reschedule. I was very disappointed (after my previous experience,) but I rescheduled for the first available opening (4 days later.) The installer arrived early, at 7:30 am (appointment window was 8-12.) He brought the appropriate equipment (I had specified on the internet order that a non-penetrating mount would be required for our flat roof.) He was pleasent, efficient and competent.   PRIOR TO ARRIVAL, THEY GAVE A FEW FOLLOW-UP PHONE CALLS EARLIER IN THE WEEK TO CONFIRM THE APPOINTMENT, GET DIRECTIONS, ETC. THEY DID A GREAT JOB WITH THE INSTALLATION. THEY SEEMED KNOWLEDGEABLE AND COMPLETED THE JOB QUICKLY. I WOULD RECOMMEND THEM TO ANYONE NEEDING SIMILAR SERVICES.

  Dish Network has been consistently professional and responsive to any requests and inquiries i have made to them over the years. They timely address equipment problems and promptly answer questions regarding billing and service issues. I am constantly looking for the best price for cable/tv service, and have over and over found that Dish is the best value; I have been with them for 7 years now.   I had always been a Direct TV customer and really wanted to stay with them but was not able to get a clear satellite signal with them when I recently moved. I tried the local cable television but did not like the service I was getting on the phone and did not figure it would get any better later so I switched to Dish Network. The service good, it is real close as what I had with Direct TV. There are some little things that I would prefer to have Direct TV but it is not a big deal. The price is a little bit lower than what I paid with Direct TV. I think I will stick with this company unless things change as far as what is available. With the issue of getting signal where I am because I have such huge trees the loss of signal has been minimal when storms have came through in my area. I have had fewer interruptions with storms with Dish Network. I may loose 10 or 20 seconds of something I am recording or watchingshow more

  I have been a customer with them for a long time and it seems like the new customers get the best deals. I would like to see them hang onto their customers and adding better things for us. The deals that I hear on TV to get Dish is not what I'm getting. They try to get customers, but they don't try to keep them. That is my complaintshow more

  I have a technician come out at least twice. First time I was told that a tree was blocking a signal, and I was told the same on another occasion when another technician came out. I have had the tree severely pruned. I still can't get many of the channels that I've subscribed to. It's very annoying because I have to schedule for Saturday, and I'm told they will arrive between noon and five as the parameters. I thus have to stay home. Their offers have not been competitive with their competitors, but since I have their service bundled with AT&T, I feel stuckshow more
