Connie went above and beyond as she searched high and low for a different direct-vent gas fireplace that could be installed in the space left without a chimney. She finally found ONE fireplace that would work. This type of gas fireplace is so new that Gas Appliances had never sold or installed one before. Connie got representatives from the manufacturer to come oversee the installation so there would be no problems. It went in quickly and smoothly. The technicians were professional, friendly and speedy. The quality of the fireplace is excellent. The quality of care and service we received from this company was even better! We cannot say enough good things about Connie and Gas Appliances! We will definitely use this company again for any and all gas appliances and recommend this company for any and everyone who wants quality, first-rate service for quality, first-rate products

"It went well and the job was finished quicker than expected. The only complaint that I had was that the salesman was not as informed about the flooring that would work well with my home and the type of flooring had to be changed after the installation crew came in to inspect the subfloor. They did bring the original flooring that I purchased but I was told by the salesman that if I was not happy that they would change the order at any time, which I had to do that day. They were able to complete the order and returned the following day with my new choice. Also the companies 50% off sale was only for a limited type of samples and we ended up getting a flooring that was not on sale. However the other flooring he was able to sell at a comparable price. I'm sure it was a type of switch and bait but from the prices he quoted we did end up getting some other discounts (veterans, senior citizen, same day contract and quick installation). I did get another company's estimate (which the salesman recommended) and the cost was similar. I was very pleased with the crews work.

"I would highly recommend BIBS Home Repair. The garage door frame paint was badly peeling. It needed to be scraped, caulked and painted. Once the project started, a huge gap was discovered between the brick of the building and the wooden frame on one side of the frame. BIBS caulked and painted and one would never guess it was as bad as it was. It looks as good as new. I am very pleased with the finished product! I will definitely hire again!

"The guy who came out was very nice, but said it would be well over $1000 to have the line run because he needed to have it done on the outside and then have a separate company come out to dig trenches to bury it. I have gas just off the room that I want the fireplace but he made it seem that it would be very difficult to do this. I have since contacted someone else and they think it isn't a problem and i won't have to dig up my entire yard and bury a gas line. The Laclede guy did say I should feel free to look elsewhere for another idea, but it seems a little weird that the gas company couldn't figure this out.
