- Texas Window and Door SupplyJohn Hunt took a deposit of $750 on July 4th. At that time he told me he would begin work that week and the doors were locally available. I requested updates multiple times. Calling his phone it went straight to voicemail. He didn't respond to my emails or texts. When I finally got him on the phone on July 27 he told me that the doors were actually unavailable and would go into production within 2 weeks of that time. Those two weeks went by and more. Again no response to my inquiries about when they would arrive. Finally on Aug 12 I requested a refund of the deposit and a cancel of the job to which he agreed in an email. It's Aug 23 now and I have not received the refund. John Hunt's communication has been really really bad. The company still has my money and I don't trust them. I recommend that you steer clear of Texas Window and Door Supply. This has been a horrible experience

"Great. Mr. Crane showed up on time and provided a straight up estimate. No “If you sign today you get this discount”. Price was $23K, very reasonable compared to some of the estimates we received. Once we decided to go with him, he came back to perform the detailed measurements. He estimated 2 months until the windows were ready. The windows were built by North Texas windows, but due to the crazy employment and supply issues during CoVid they were delayed an additional 2 months. Mr. Crane kept us advised and once they arrived they were installed over 2 days. Great install team, fast, professional, and cleaned up everything. "Quick, and overall pleased with the roof and gutters themselves. John (owner) is personable, friendly, knowledgeable, and gave us a fair price and quick service. His ROOF crew, however, was sloppy with tear down and clean up, and not punctual at all (we've already discussed with him, and hope we will take steps to make sure it doesn't occur again. The gutters were installed AFTER the roof was complete, and we are pleased with the whole process. WE would like to see greater punctuality and communication, but overall would still recommend HyTek and would/will use again.

"My husband and I moved to Texas in August of 2021. The house was built in 1972 and still had the single pane aluminum windows. We reached out Texas Made to review the options on replacing the windows and the old French doors. The owner, Jerry Dixon, called us right back and arranged for Frank, the salesman to come out and take a look. He was fantastic and we ordered. Jerry and Frank measured everything and placed the order. With today's supply chain issues, they kept us updated and scheduled the work. Mike and Juan installed the windows and doors over 3 days. The improvement in sound and drafts was immediate after just one picture window. Everything is beautiful and the installation was fantastic. They left this place cleaner than when they got here! Wonderful experience from start to finish. We are happy and safe with our hurricane impact windows and doors.

"M & M Roofing re-roofed my Round Rock home in May of 2022 and did an excellent job on this $13K+ project. The same crew also did a separate small siding repair for me a week earlier. Bob Mills is the most attentive, thorough, and honest of the 5 roofing managers I've selected over the years. His bid was competitive but not the lowest -- I've made the mistake in the past of just going with the lowest bidder. This company, M&M, is large enough to be reliable and accountable. Their parent company, also called M&M, is based in Houston but I dealt only with the Austin organization. The crew of 3 finished in 3 1/2 days, an approach I prefer because the quality of workmanship is noticeably more even with a smaller crew. Bob and his area supervisor Dan communicate well, offer good advice, and follow through on promises. I recommend them to family and friends without reservation, and I would use them again.

"I am very happy with DV Roofing. Dave and his crew kept us up to date on the status of the job. They made every effort to protect items such as our A/C unit and plants from falling debris and even went so far as to lay sheets of plywood along our fence in an effort to minimize debris from going into our neighbors yards. And if it did, they went over and picked it up. The cleanup in and around our yard was very thorough. "My wife and I went to Home Depot to run a couple errands and were approached by this company who explained all the benefits of using them. We had been wanting to update our guest bathroom so we thought "why not". We made an appointment and they arrived a few days later to discuss the bathroom and quotes. You need to be ready to either go all in day of or nothing. We were able to get a discounted price on top of the $500 off for the project. The sales pitch was extremely salesy so be ready for that. For the installation and working with the project manager. That was extremely smooth. My only complaint is that there was a lack of communication between the sales rep and our project manager. We wanted something specific done with the shower door which couldn't be done due to city code. Our sales rep didn't relay this information. Fortunately, our project manager was able to refund us for the door. Overall, our bathroom looks phenomenal. They did great work and excited to have guests over again (well after COVID).
