There were two grades of UV protection that I could use and one was more expensive, but he actually recommended the lower priced option rather than trying to sell me a high priced option.   Brandon Whitlow, owner of company, came out to give estimate and explain the various window films offered by 3M. He also came out to do the installation himself. Took about 7 hours. Very clean, meticulous, and friendly. Does high quality work and takes the time to do it right. The 3M product is wonderful - it is so clear that you would never know the window was tinted unless someone told you.   We called two companies to look at tinting our west-facing windows. Only Jared responded. He came to our home with samples of his products, listened to what we wanted the film to do, and made recommendations. For the great room, we wanted minimum light blockage with maximum heat reduction and some glare reduction. Jared recommended a high-tech solution which would block a surprising amount of heat without filtering very much light. For the sliding glass door in a bedroom that faces a sidewalk, we wanted light reduction, privacy and heat reduction. Jared recommended the kind of tinting we are used to seeing (at almost 1/2 the cost of the product we liked for the great room). We liked Jared, the appearance of his product, and his proposal. So we signed a contract on the spot. He installed the tinting a few days later. Above the 2 standard glass doors are 1/2-round windows, and above the sliding glass doors and side windows are small windows, so there was a lot of fitting to do. We cannot see seams or edges. Jared said to wait about 4 weeks for all the bubbles to disappear, and they have. The only reasons we are aware of the tinting in the great room is because there is no more glare, the room doesn't get as hot, and sunsets are more vivid (like using a camera filter). This tinting product was well worth the price, and we definitely recommend it. The choice for the bedroom was appropriate, because it is slightly reflective and provides the privacy we wantedshow more

  TERRIFIC! Brandon showed up on time and was the utmost professional. Described thhe entire process, what we could expect and what to watch for as the materials cured. He was delightful to have in our home, quiet and thoughful, cleaned up completely. I have a diffiicult and fluctuating schedule and they were very accomodating in getting us on the schedule. I have already had them back once for a decorative film on a sliding door in another area of our home, and expect a final visit for a skylight I missed.   I recently had the pleasure of meeting a few of the last true Gentlemen in this world... and they tinted my windows! If you are looking for a Tint Shop who guarantees quality work and appreciates your business, stop right here. The Art of Tint located in Brooklyn NY just recently tinted the windows on my 2016 BMW M235i. The quality of work was outstanding. They took great care to avoid dust contamination by hosing down the shop floor prior to commencing work. They were fast, methodical, precise and the proof is in the end product. My car was given a quick rinse and wiped down with clean towels that left no scratches. There is a level of pride in this Shop that I rarely see, I was truly impressed. Pricing was on par and industry standard. I have had my windows tinted from Las Vegas to Florida... these guys are truly excellent.
