American Furniture RepairThe firm required a photograph, sent by email, of the location on the recliner requiring attention. After receiving the photograph and determining that they could accomplish the repair, an appointment date was agreed upon. The repair person arrived almost "on the dot". After explaining the situation to him and having him examine the recliner, he went right to work and completed the work in short order--less than 15 minutes. He said he preferred a check over a credit card. Payment was made by personal check, and he was on his way, with one happy customer remaining.- Mickey S.

Leather FinesseThese folks provide a really unique and useful service. Stephen made our older (but quality) leather furniture look brand new. He was very knowledgable about leather types and qualities, and up-front about what was doable and what wasn't. For instance, our type of leather would not do well with adding color or conditioning. Leather FinesseMy dog scratched up the cushion and back of a leather club chair when she was trying to get a toy she dropped in between the cushion and arm rest. The damage was quite extensive but the leather was not ripped. Leather Finesse was able to repair the chair in our house and took the cushion with him, mailing it back later. Leather FinesseMy couch looks brand new because of Leather Finesse! The dog had chewed up the bottom portion of the couch near the leg and the seat had cat and dog scratches on it. Leather Finesse came to my house and fixed the couch! It looks great now! You cannot tell that a dog or cat has even been near it! He took off the part that had been torn, matched a piece of leather to it, and then repaired it..all right in my living room. He dyed and cleaned the seat portion of the couch so it looks like new leather. My couch went from looking shabby and torn to brand new. I am so thankful I called Leather Finesse. Eric Peterson - Peterson PaintingI have used Eric Peterson the past year or so for several jobs around my house. Mr. Peterson is, bar none, the best drywall installer and mud man I have ever seen! He also paints interiors and exteriors beautifully. Mr. Peterson has painted most of the interior of my house. Mr. Peterson recently installed an Allure floor in my kitchen, then replaced the thresholds. He did a beautiful job. Last fall Mr. Peterson refinished the kitchen cabinets, which were terribly water spotted and damaged from years of neglect. He sanded the cabinet doors and surrounds and then matched the existing stain beautifully. He is meticulous, has an extraordinary attention to detail, provides bids and is very reliable. I have also recently used his services for painting most of the interior of my house as well as drywall replacements and repairs. He skim coated walls that had wall paper on them that could not be removed and then primed and painted them. Gorgeous! Mr. Peterson has also painted most of the interior trim. Recently Peterson removed some very old paneling and wood crown mold and baseboard in the den. Eric installed drywall, mudded and painted it. Mr. Peterson sanded the crown molding and baseboards and then replaced them and they look brand new! One of the things I like best about Mr. Peterson is that he cleans up after himself. When he has had someone with him, they are also reliable and Mr. Peterson supervises the job. Mr. Peterson also does his own work. He does NOT subcontract, so I did not have to worry about strangers in my house. I highly recommend him for any job you may have around your house or business. Mr. Peterson is completely trustworthy, reliable, and honest. The price listed is approximate because he has completed several jobs for me.- Peach M.

Inspections and estimates can be done in-home for a $50 fee which will be applied toward the repair if needed. Business Description:
I more frequently than not work alone. I mostly price a job, though working by the hour is an option. I usually require a small deposit on bigger projects. Smaller jobs, not so much, just pay by check or cash. Hopeing soon to be able to accept credit cards.

Horrible. I took photos of the chair at drop off, showing n marks or stains. The original quote was $38, then at pickup $145. A pickup, my chair had glue all over the fabric all over the chair and black oily spots all over the fabric as well. These are not small...dime and quarter size and bigger. I had one big splash of glue across the entire side on one side of chair. I refused to take the chair and asked them to make it right. They claim they never promised a clean chair and arm was fixed. They tried not to accept responsibility, but I showed them photos of the chair at drop-off in their warehouse, immaculate. So I left chair and came back after the weekend with some left over material from the last time I had this family heirloom re-upholstered. I asked if it was enough to fix those areas and then clean some other areas because the fabric cleaners said the glue wouldn't come out. He wouldn't discuss with us and continued to scream at me to take the chair. ...he was doing nothing. That is his quote. I have audio of our conversation. He also told me to sue him since he is retiring at the end of the year. He got in my face and slammed a door on me, He even tried to leave and told me if we didn't move our truck he would ram into it. He was crazed and angry that I wouldn't take the chair and leave him alone. My husband could take no more and we took the damaged chair home. This is a chair that is so special to us and now I guess I have to come up with 1-thousand dollars to have it reupholstered somewhere else. He did nothing to correct all of the damage. I have tons of photos to show this.

The quality of the work that they did was very good. There were some problems because the foreman of the job quit the company right in the middle of working on our cabinets so that caused some confusion. They got back to work promptly though and finished it up pretty strong. The people were pleasant, kind and easy to deal with.
