    I had just moved into a house and expected that ATT would have the phone "turned on" but there was no service on my phone. ATT charges $100 just to come out for any phone issues inside your house so I called Universal, which has a smaller fee to come out. I had used Universal a few times at another house so I expected honest service and that is what I recieved. The Universal electrician was able to show me what ATT had to do to activat the line (the problem was not in my home) and assisted me to write my "script" for calling back ATT and letting them know what needed to be done. So that would have been a fair deal. However, the electrician also provided a check of my homes current electric service. I purchased a mid-century (60 year old) home so the electric status was a big unknown. He let me know what was okay and what could use some fixn', and even provided a detailed quote. So I essentially recieved an inspection and home electric 101 class for free. Good stuff... definately seems to be business as usual for Universal

    Our phone service was down, but AT&T insisted that they were delivering phone service to our home. We called Universal Home Experts out to get us going again. Ryan Brady, a UHE Technician came out and performed a thorough inspection and determined that the wiring where AT&T delivered signal to our home had been disconnected on our side of the interface and reconnected it. The entire experience was professional from start to finish. I would definitely recommend UHE and it was a pleasure to work with Ryan! D. Hick

    After a misunderstanding about my appointment was cleared up, Lucky came and examined the telephone service to the house (not working) and the exterior lines after the connection box. The service problem belonged to AT&T, who repaired the connection. Afterward, Lucky came again and replaced the worn and damaged line, installed a new jack, and tested everything, which then worked perfectly. His charges were very reasonable, considering he spent more than three hours over two trips

    They gave me the best and the easiest deal. I spent over a $100 on the services. I think it is a good price for what I am getting. They were very efficient in signing me up. I had a lot of confusion in the beginning. Another AT&T office wanted to sign me up. I tried other companies as well. Finally, I decided to go to a small AT&T kiosk. The young man took care of everything in 15 minutes. The services were installed and delivered in 5 days. It was so simple. I don?t use them for cellphones. I have been with them for 2 months now. There are no nasty surprises. The bill was what it was supposed to be. I will continue to use them in the future

    The phone service is good. The thing about it is that they only serve places with upgraded infrastructure with my particular subdivision having to have that but they have the fastest internet anywhere around here. The charges are less than anybody else charges where very slow. They have a little connection box in my backyard and I decided to call them to find out what they charge. They're excellent and they have particular representative for my subdivision. I've called them many times and they've helped me and they were great. They were very prompt. The guy was here for about 5-6 hours and he didn't leave until everything was right. Everything was put all back together. The price is excellent

    Windstream hires contractors who are not particularly responsible. I have been lucky now to have had 2 very professional repairmen come to fix this recurring problem. But it has taken me numerous phone calls to finally get someone qualified to come out. It's very frustrating to know that I have no choice of land line other than Windstream. I thought that phone monopolies died with Ma Bell

    They are the big one in the area and we prefer them to the alternative. They are pretty good. Given where we are the services beats the heck out of the satellite competition.

    They are okay. I live in a master-planned community. When I first moved here, eight years ago, I did not have a choice concerning the service provider. Now, I do have choices, but it is just easier to stay with them because I have a bundle of services from them. I spend about $280 for everything. Their service has gotten better. I am not sure if it is just my phone or if it is them, but a lot of times, my phone goes dead. There are also times when it would not register my caller ID. As far as customer service is concerned, I have not had a problem with them. They have always sent someone out if ever I did have issues when I was at my other house. I recently moved into my new house. They have always been good about addressing my issues. They are not exactly the cheapest, but I do not think they are the most expensive, either. I will continue to use their services in the future
