  • NEEDHAM GARDEN CENTER
    5.0
The big snowstorm was coming on Thursday. It was Monday, and I found that the machine that had worked fine last season would not start. I called the folks at Needham Garden Center and they said that they could pick it up on Tuesday. On Wednesday they told me that they had to replace the carbeurator and give it a general tune up. I asked when I could have the unit back, expecting them to say the next week. It arrived the next morning, just as the snow began to fall! That's some service!. They will continue to have me as a customer because of this level of customer service

Beautiful! Josh's crew is hardworking and thorough. Josh is not great at communications, but will get back to you if you leave a message or contact the office and leave a message with Lisa. I did wait for him to contact me on occasion, or for his crew to show up on occasion. Communications could be better. But Josh knows landscaping, is a nice fellow to work with, is enthusiastic about his job

  • WILD BIRDS UNLIMITED
    5.0
Wild Birds Unlimited is a haven for bird lovers. Their staff is well trained and patient and happy to spend as much time as needed with a customer. I have been very pleased with the quality of product received as well as advise on feeding wildlife. Their bird food products are a bit pricey, but they offer a club membership that gives a 10% discount on every food purchase as well as the odd coupon. If you are feeding a lot of birds, the membership is worth it

Chris DePoto visited on schedule and reviewed project ideas with me. When his first proposal did not suit me, he revised and sent a 2nd proposal which was much better in my mind. His father and his brother Mark arrived with their work crew on schedule and completed the job in a half day. The end result was superb and has increased the value of our property by about $10K in my estimation. Both the design and the execution of the work were excellent. Mark and his father consulted with me as the job proceeded to make sure I thought the placements of boulders and shrubs was to my satisfaction. The work was professionally done. All areas were cleaned up before they left. Mr. DePoto, Chris, Mark and their crew were all great to work with. They were the opposite of arrogant. They were friendly and professional, and were kind enough to offer my 3-year old grandson a chance to ride in the front loader and run the leaf blower. He was too shy to do that, but loved watching them the whole time

  • Weston Nurseries Inc
    5.0
Except for re-seeding of grass, (delayed 3 days at my request), the project is virtually complete;Chip prepared and the Weston Nurseries crew implemented a good landscape design to fit my needs. Chip and all of the crew were punctual, polite, and professional . The crew cleaned up well after their work. The price was reasonable. I am excited about the new plants and how my back yard will look after the grass re-seeding is completed

  • Salt Box Nursery
    5.0
They are absolutely fantastic people. I do a lot of business with them. They stand behind their products. If something fails, they will help you. They are very nice people. Their prices are not the cheapest, but you get more for what you pay because of the help, guidance, and quality they provide. They have excellent quality. I usually give flowers to the people I do business with and I buy them there. They have some special offers at the end of the season, and they send cards to their customer with 20% discount. They are a very good company. They have been in this town for many years and run a nice business. They have never failed me, and I have never had any negative experience with them. They have always been positive. If something happens, they always try to solve it. They always do a nice job. Some people, I understand, are typical price people, and if you are looking for price then you don't want to go to Small Box. They are not very expensive either. Their prices are what it should be, and if you compare them to other nurseries, I would say they are right there and do a nice job for you. Their quality and responsiveness is excellent. They are very professional. I will shop at other places, but still I would buy something from there if I like it. There are the first place I go to

  • Wilson Farms Inc
    5.0
It's clear that all Wilsons employees are schooled in customer service. When I ask for help in finding an item, the Wislons associate will take me to the item, rather than just telling me where to look. When I've ordered special occaision flowers and baked goods I have met with the baker for floral designer and carefully explained exactly what I want and I've never been disappointed. When we go to Wilsons to purchase our Christmas tree the associate is endlessly patient while I search for the and quot; perfectand quot; tree, even when other customers are waiting. As you can imagine, Wilsons is a very large operation, not a little farm stand. They are hugely poplular with locals and it's best to arrive early on weekends in order to avoid the crowds and find a parking spot

  • Seven Arrows Farm
    5.0
They are a nursery. When they say they have uncommon plants, they do. I had been the year before and was talking to them that I wanted to plant some patchouli and that I could not find it anywhere and they found it at Seven Arrows. The staff there is very friendly and very helpful. They'll just sit and talk with me if that is what I want. They are ready to give advice on how to take care of patchouli. They asked me to come back if I have any problems. They told me the cycle of how the plant grows. They are very knowledgeable about what they deal with. If I have any uncommon plants or unusual plants that I want to pick up, that is the place I'm now thinking off. They do have a tea room, they have herbs that they raise and sell. The whole atmosphere is very nice

  • KATSURA GARDENS
    5.0
I would recommend him. I've known him since his previous business. He's a very good gardener. He's got great horticultural knowledge. He's good. He's particularly good on unusual trees. He has a very good stock of Japanese maples for example. His price is reasonable. I always go there and I'm acknowledged immediately. I will use his services again in the future
