About us
The Country Hospital for Animals is a veterinary practice limited to small animals (primarily dogs and cats, although exotics are sometimes seen by special appointment). The CHFA employs four certified veterinary technicians, two receptionists, and three veterinary assistants. It is also staffed by one somewhat tired but conscientious practitioner.
Business highlights
Services we offer
The CHFA offers a wide range of surgical services, dentistry, preventative medicine, and both dog and cat boarding. The clinic has a full range of clinicopathologic laboratory diagnostic equipment, ultrasonography, high frequency and digital dental x ray machines, endoscopy, and electrocardiography. We partner with and offer mentorship programs to local high school seniors, provide internships for veterinary students, and often can provide low cost or free services to service animals.
Services we don't offer
We do not offer chiropractic, naturopathic, herbal or accupuncture therapies. We don't advertise, offer coupons, give away frisbees with our clinic logo, or sell pet toys, but we have hot coffee and you can usually hear polka music playing in the back (the vet is Scandinavian).
