I liked them on the phone before starting. He was good about taking the time to explain possible problems from the scenario I described. Very professional, honest and more willing to volunteer information than any other garage I've worked with. He was recommended to me by a friend who had him recommended by another friend. While not cheap by any means ($90/hour for service) that seems to be about the going rate around here for auto service. And he billed 2.7 hours, which means they actually care and don't bill in half hour segments. The last garage I took it to here (also the timing belt in the same car) billed something more expensive, whether it was a dishonest assessment of time or whatever, because that garage visit cost my about $400 after using a $25 off coupon, and they didn't even replace the timing belt. At Vromans it was $380 and they did more than the timing belt - also did a tensioner. At the other garage, they just found a tooth from an old belt in there that had jammed it somehow, took that out, and billed me $400 without even changing out the old belt. This'll definitely be my garage of choice in the future. First garage in Jackson I've dealt with I've felt is trustworthy.

Jerry replaced a starter which was on warranty and didn't cost me and he performed the annual maintenance.

Jerry has great service and reasonable prices. He tells it like it is, straight forward and honest.
