Description of Work: Me and my fiance rented from this couple from May 31st 2011 - May 15th 2012. (We moved out early because we could nolonger tolerate living there). When we moved in, there wasn't even a stove! Cora even had the nerve to ask my fiance if wewanted one. She informed her that the that the last tenants who lived there used a hotplate only. In addition, there is exposedfiberglass insulation in the kitchen around the edges of the ceiling, no carpet in the kitchen or the hallway. There is also rottenin the bathroom that I asked Thomas to replace and he ignored me concerning this. The shower leaked and I informed himof this as well. They did replace the shower but the plumber neglected to turn on the valves. Because of this, my fiance andI had to pay a local hotel to take showers. We were not reimbursed for this. In addition, the contractors they hired to do thework did not complete the work and left a space between the shower and the main wall. I informed Thomas of this as welland, to no surprise, this was never repaired either. And there was a foul stench coming from the spare bedroom. Only later didCora inform us that there had been flood damage. They did not replace the carpet or the closet doors which are warped andfall off the hinges. Another issue was that the thermostat in our main bedroom was not working. I informed Thomas of thisa well, long before winter came. He had a contractor come and look at it. The thermostat was never replaced and as a result,we were cold all winter long. Here in Jackson, the temperatures get below zero. These people are definately the worst landlordsi have ever had. They don't return E-mails or phone calls in a timely manner and are very irresponsible. And, they even have thenerve to say that we did damage! Not only that, even though we moved out 2 weeks early, they still want money from us!To sum it up, these people are slumlords and don't care about there tenents at all. Whatever you do, DO NOT rent from these people! After I moved, I filed a complaint with the Jackson Fire Marshall due to code violation. Needless to say, they did not pass inspection. Also, they advertise in the Jackson Hole Daily under rentals. You'll see the address listed as: 524 No Name Alley (Or sometimes street).
