The job was finished within eight days (and took no more than four or five hours, including disposal delivery times) during two Saturdays and a Friday). If it wasn't for some inclement weather and an illness of his weekend laborer the job would have been completed in one or two very short days.
Description of Work: Within an approximately 10 foot by 9 foot area the following yard stuff was (chain) sawed, shoveled, raked and/or removed from my yard: Most (I asked them to leave alone two small dogwood bush growths) of a mostly dead, large spreading out red osier dogwood bush (6' H x 8' x 5.5'-ish); two-plus pickup truck loads of excess dirt including a HUGE (currently, seasonally inert) ant colony; lots of local rocks (filling the approximate size of a fully loaded, heavy duty wheel barrel); and most of the dogwood bush debris (over 24 years of it). Near the end of this extraction process, the owner used a really amazing machine, mounted on a small trailer, to grind down (approx. 8 - 10 inches deep) the dogwood roots below ground level. Spencer Moon, the owner, somehow successfully positioned this trailered, small heavy machine through an extremely tight access point. Amazing!
