Superior Fence Restoration and Stain

Was told it would take 2-3 days. It took 7 days. The owner, Tom, was a very good salesman. However, his contractor, Wade P., did a horrible job!!

I've used them at least four times and have always been satisfied with the service.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. THEY HAVE DESTROYED OUR GARDEN AND HAVE GONE BANKRUPT. They killed the plants around the gazebo, and the staining was sloppy and a mess. It looks like agent orange was used since the plants died. The two-man crew used a very strong bleach normally used with pools. The bleach got the fence and the deck of the gazebo clean quickly, but the work on the posts, railings, and upper structure was extremely sloppy. Steve (the estimator, owner) tried to save us some money by not doing the underside of the roof since it had not weathered. The crew did not try to clean down from the bottom edge of the roof like Steve had mentioned they would. The cleaning came out spotty with runs on everything below the bottom of the roof and they randomly splashed cleaner on the underside of the roof. This would have made for a very crappy stain job. The crew left without telling me. When I saw the sloppy job, I called them and had them come back to redo the work. The underside of the roof would have looked bad so I foolishly agreed to pay extra to clean and stain the underside of the roof. The cleaning came out better, but not great. The head crew member said that they would finesse the stain spraying so everything would be even. They would back brush the deck for even coverage. Not even close. They just soaked the heck out of everything and left. The roof structure was dripping heavily, the deck had pools of stain on one side, and an entrance area didn't have enough stain. They even forgot some areas. After three weeks, the deck is still sticky on one side and the drips are still hanging from the roof. All through this, I was concerned about the garden around the gazebo and fence. The lead crew member said the plants would be fine. I asked him to cover the plants anyway. He only partially covered the plants with three small covers. The bleach and stain ended up on almost everything even under the covers because they sprayed everything sideways. It was a calm day so wind was not the cause. The garden is mostly dead. Steve Tomsu and his partner came out and looked at the job and agreed it did not go right. They agreed to finish the staining and refund $1000. A week later one of the owners called and said they are bankrupt and out of business. Turns out the crew were not employed by Superior Fence. They were subcontractors who refused to finish the job and I suppose refund some of the money.

Steve responded timely with an estimate; Jessie cleaned the fence and returned in two days to stain. My fence looks new again.

Great! They did a great job! They power washed and bleached, then stained 2 days later. It looks so much better!

I love the new look of our home. The old stain was worn off and all our woodwork was grey. Not it is restored to better than new condition. I plan to hire them again in the spring to do our fence and deck.

They promptly came out and took measurements. This was over six weeks ago as of this posting. I have not heard a peep from them since. They had my cell phone and email. I have since had several others come out and give me quotes. I don't want to have to hound someone for my business.

My wife called them twice and even sent a message through the contact form on their website [*** Link removed ***] No response back. It has been two weeks now and we still haven't heard back from them. If they are that busy to return a phone call or email then this in not the business for us. We are not using them and moving on to another business.

The fence guys are very friendly, attentive to details and took an additional trip to satisfy the last minute changes that we made. We are very happy with the work Performed.

Steve responded promptly to my phone call and came out the same day to discuss and take measurements. We agreed on price and his crew, led by Scott, came out the next day to do the power washing. Several days of rain delayed the actual staining, but Scott came back as soon as possible to finish it. The results were very satisfactory. Steve and his business partner Doug came out a few days later to inspect it. All parties were very pleasant and professional.

Very well. Had to re-spray an area that when dried looked splotchy. They came out promptly and handled very well.

Steve and his crew straightened 5 of the polls that hold the fence up and then they cleaned it and stained it.  It is a very large fence and I have many plants, decorative items and a fish pond they had to deal with.  Everything came out beautifully and my fence looks great. All three of the workers were very nice and they didn't mind me asking questions about everything they were doing. I would definitely hire them again.

They did a god job.  My fence and garage doors had not been stained for 10+ years and they cleaned them incredibly well and stained them back to the original color.

Superior Fence came out to quote and they gave us three options, from an economy version to a full blown fancy build.  It was great having some clear choices and getting a little education about what we were buying AND what the other companies were actually quoting us.  The fence looks great and we are very happy we chose Superior Fence Restoration.

Superior Fence built us a huge pergola that covers our deck and overhangs the pool.  I had previous quotes of $12,000-$14,000 but Superior Fence had great pricing at $8500, great ideas, and the quality is outstanding.  They were able to match the new pergola stain color to my existing fence stain color (this was a very big deal to my wife).  They were on time, very courteous and actually left my back yard cleaner than when they arrived.   I will surely recommend them to family and friends.

Everything went perfect. Crew showed up right on time and worked all day, they didn't charge extra despite the labor being more intense then originally thought. Crew worked extra hours and also tcame back the next day and I was still only charged for what the original estimate was.

Superior has done 2 jobs for me and they were both had very high quality and very fair pricing.

My deck and patio cover look brand new.  Steve and his crew worked quickly trying to avoid the bad weather and did not mind starting and stopping a few times to let the rain pass.  
I thought I needed to replace my entire deck but they were able to salvage most of the frame and just replace the top decking materials and rails.  

As I expected the crew was on time and very professional.  My wife and I are extremely pleased with the new pergola.  They built it in one day and then stained it to match my fence the next morning.  High quality and very fair pricing.

We had a trampoline fly into our fence and do damage. Superior Fence Restoration came out asap and helped reset two posts, and reattach broken and detached boards. Great job all around! Response time was super quick!
