Their representative was quick to respond to our request for bid. Came to the house a day or two after we called them for a bid. Measured up the space, looked over the old furnace ducting, capacity, plumbing (gas & drains), etc. and prepared bids for their normal HVAC supplier brand and my requested brand which they also install. They prepared a bid for my requested furnace units (a 90% and a 95% efficiency unit) for two brand names (four bids) and a similar aspect for the AC units (13 & 14 SEER units). I based my HVAC requests based on Consumer Reports (CR) information (brands matter, but installation matters the most). Their representative stopped by our house on a Sat. to explain their bids plusses and minuses.
Their bid was the most competitive for the highest rated CR brand even though that was not their "normal" represented brand.
After we awarded them the bid, they had the replacement furnace installed and functional within a week. The AC compressor & heat dispenser was install about two weeks later (on back order; not a problem - still winter). Their installation team was very professional, covered the carpet to haul in the units over, plumbing was simple and straightforward, no freezing issues on drains, and the ducts were reconnected with straight simple connections. The installation of the furnace and thermostat was done in less than a day and the AC compressor was done in about half a day.
They thoroughly cleaned up after themselves.
I will use this company for future work and recommend them to others.
The address I have for Air-Tech is:
1022 Robertson Circle
Gillette, WY 82718
should be, Air tech sent a service man to my home and he cleaned my
outside air exchange and put a new filter in and said after looking at
the system it appeared to be working properly with those minor changes;
That seemed to do the trick...I was prepared to get a new system as the
a/c unit is fairly old but the service man said it was still good.
I originally had Air tech (Dave) put in my new forced air gas furnace
several years ago and they did such a good job at a fair price. I was very pleased.
